It looks like the bag completely closes but it does not. There is an opening a few inches on the top edge of the left and right.

Arrived ripped. Not happy.

Horrible! Kept nothing cold, not even for a little while.

Doesn't keep anything cold. Terrible.

I always seem to be in need of reusable shopping bags.We do a ton of shopping at Sam's and Aldi's....both which where you need to provide you own bags.This bag is pretty neat. The way it opens and closes is different than other styles I've seen and at first I thought it was awkward....but now, I like it.Aside from the bags that zip closed...this is my 2nd style of choice.I've found the snap style closures never seem to fully work well and sometimes can be a pain to openAnywho, this is a very generous sized bag. I love that it has a wide and deep bottom, it allows for my ice packs to sit flat and keep the food cool till we get to our destination.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Probably my most favorite bag for on the goIt's big enough to hold practically anything, but keep in mind if you carrying heavy items like juice you should hold the bag from the bottom and not just by the handle or it might breakI've used this insulated bag a couple times for our long car rides and with a ice pack inside the bag my items were still cold after our 2 hr driveIt also didn't build up any condensation on the outside of the bag and just remained cold insideYou could use this bag for hot items as well I've just used it for cold items as we have a 20 min drive sometimes to and from the store and it's also nice to load my frozen food in the bag on the really hot daysMy mom has a bag similar to this one in style and size, but what makes my bag cooler is how the top part closer unlike hers you have to snap together which sometimes opens on it ownThis bag you slide the handle inside the slot and pull up creating a seal and it never pops open until you open it upAgain its a huge bag I've been able to fit 20 ears of corn, juice bottle, some other size frozen fruits and still had room to close itOther times we've used it for juices, ice cream, gallon milk and of course you can put whatever you want in it those are just a few things we used it forI received this insulated bag at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion/review

I will be traveling thise summer with little ones and lots of time in the car. This will be absolutely perfect for what I need. It is small enough to fit in my luggage and then we rent a car it will be really nice to have on hand. We will also be staying at many hotels and there will be ice so we can fill daily and when we do not have a fridge in our hotel roo this will suffice. So far I am really happy I purchased this. I did receive this at a discount, but would of purchased anyway.
