This is light as a feather-around 30lbs for the whole thing which lets me move it if I want! Unbelievable! AND I FELL ASLEEP ON IT TWO SECONDS OUT OF THE BOX! I have really bad arthritis, especially in my face, hips left shoulder and knees, and this has made one heck of a difference for me! The pain is less, and I can actually sleep even when it's hurting now. Fits my full-sized futon to a 'T', no more overhang. Don't know if it slides when up because mine won't go up anymore, but that's a futon issue not the mattress. Don't think you could go wrong with this one and the price is worth every last penny for it. I couldn't have made a better decision and when this one wears out, I want another one just like it.
