If i use the chime, do i still get a call on my phone if someone rings my door & also not an alert on the chime when motion is detected?

Yes you still get an alert on your phone. No the chime doesn’t detect motion just if someone rings the bell

I cannot pair this with my doorbell, I do not know how it seems so complicated, I click on add doorbell and there is nothing there to pair with ?

It was a bit tricky I had to try it a few times but if you follow the instructions it should work. Try ringing customer service at Arlo.

The QR code on the back of the chime is not being picked up/recognised by my iPhone?

i had same trouble .if part of alarm system you need to get camera disconnect ed befoe it will pair .if you phone arlo customer service they will send you a bigger code so your device will read it that is what i had to do still took a few attempts to get it working i spent two days on it
