A small upgrade over your TV speakers.
Itโs relatively inexpensive and if your are just looking for slight improvement over the TV speaker then itโs worth it.

Good, but no real Atoms affect
Brilliant for base and dialogue clarity. For Atoms affect, even my TCL tv with builtin Atoms, does a better job.

This delivers all the needs one could ever want in a soundbar. The bass is nice and punchy, the dialogue is crisp (thanks to the center speaker and tweeter), and the immersiveness is exponentially better than the flat sound of the stock TV Speakers. While the Dolby Atmos factor (vertical height sound) is not very prominent, I think it barely matters in the grand scheme of the sound. The soundbar does an incredible job of filling the room with immersive sound, and I can not recommend this soundbar enough. When I was in the market looking for a soundbar, I did several months of research but could not find a good enough deal to make a purchase. This soundbar has impeccable reviews and goes above and beyond its expectations (especially at a refurbished price!!!). If you are in the market for a soundbar, this one will not disappoint; and, especially at this price, you should just purchase it and not waste your time.

I canโt tell you how much I was about to give up on Samsung. First I got the Q67 with surround sound and it was absolute garbage, but this 800 series is a total beast! The sound quality is absolutely amazing with incredible deep bass and fluid Q-Symphony connection. Itโs absolutely flawless and worth the extra money.

I ended up returning this unit to the seller because I was able to order a new in box one directly from Samsung for about $5 more. Nothing against the seller, as they were great to deal with, and actually shipped a new one even though it was supposed to be renewed. As for the soundbar, I was very disappointed at first. No surround sound, nearly no bass, muddy vocals. I started tweaking the settings in the app, and now it's AMAZING. I have the sub sitting in the back corner of the room and it literally shakes the house during movie explosions. The surround sound it excellent as well. I don't really get any of the Atmos effects, but to be honest, I have a very high cathedral ceiling, so that's probably why. Also, be sure to invest in very good quality HDMI cables if that's how you plan to hook this up in your system. When watching UHD w/Atmos movies on Netflix, it would pause and the sound would cut out, like you powered off the soundbar and then it would come back on. I knew it wasn't my internet, as I have a fiber gigabit connection. I picked up a "Best Buy" HDMI cable, and that helped, but didn't completely fix the issue. I finally got two Audio Quest Cinnamon HDMI cables, and that fixed the problem completely. https://www.amazon.com/AudioQuest-Cinnamon-2-25m-8K-10K-48Gbps/dp/B08J8H9XNZ/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=audioquest%2Bcinnamon%2Bhdmi%2Bcable&qid=1641477370&sprefix=audio%2Bquest%2Bci%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-3&th=1

Sound is amazing. Bluetooth subwoofer pairing is not very clear yet doable as you fumble through the process. Remote has a subwoofer control button, thatโs the only usable thing. Wish we could add that to the existing Samsung control and not need to use the new remote and can put it away using it for setup reasons only.

First off the sound quality on this is amazing. I am replacing an Onkyo 7.1 System with Bose speakers and when this sound bar works it absolutely blows it away. So here is my Amazon horror story. I am going on my 3rd one of these soundbars because of issues with the used and supposedly made like new process Amazon uses. The 1st sound bar didn't come with any power cables, instructions or mounting brackets. After waiting almost 4 weeks for them to actually ship my replacement I just got my 2nd one. I hooked it up like a kid in Christmas and all my hopes and dreams were realized the audio sounded great and it was worth the wait. For about 30 seconds until the sound bar started saying "Mic on...Mic Off...Mic on...."I called Samsung tech support and after walking this person through how to do their job and how to actually troubleshoot something I discovered that the Mic on and Mic off buttons on the top of the sound bar(which aren't labeled and had no idea what they were) don't work at all. I suspect that's were the issue is. Now another issue if you order this wonderful product from Amazon is they try and ship it in the original box and by the time I got it looked like someone had taken baseball bat to the box. So going to have them replace it for a 3rd time because absolutely love it when it worked will update.
