Anyway, my old steps cracked and fell apart so I decided on this one as a replacement. It's more than adequate, folds very well and slots away in a deep kitchen drawer out of sight when not in use. So far, seems quite strong. Let's hope they stay that way.

**Q: Could you use this to sit on in the shower?**
A: Most deffinately, it is easy to open,very sturdy well made.I would suggest that it is stood on a towel for the shower purpose so it won’t slip though.

A: Hi there, I store my stool in the folded position, so it's approximately 40cm high and less than 10 cm deep.

**Q: What are the spots on the top made of?**
A: They are a soft squidgy foam like round circle which is sat almost flush on the top side, when you push your finger in/ on they feel like they are sat in a pre formed indentation… I’m guessing this is all to make it non Slip… on the steps  it says. skid resistant.
I’m not sure if that’s the feet of the stool itself or non slip on the part 
 you step on…

**Q: Is this step stool really non slip**
A: Hi
Not sure if you mean the top or the bottom. 
The base - on carpet you can hardly even push it when no weight is on it and stepping up and down is solid. If on vinyl, it can be pushed easily into place before standing on it and as long as stepping up and down is done done without any lunge it stays put solidly, if you take a large step backwards it will, of course move slightly. 
The top - If you’re wearing just a sock, it feels like it's being gripped, but with an outdoor soled slipper, you can slid your foot if you choose to, to get into a comfortable position, but it doesn't feel slippy. I've used mine quite a lot and have never felt insecure on it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very useful stool

I'm very pleased with this brilliant little stool as it enables me to draw my curtains with ease and it folds /unfolds easily with the handle. It holds my weight well at 11 stone but I can imagine for a very heavy person it could be little flimsy so would be worth checking the weight limit.
