Realm of the Blue Mist: A Graphic Novel (The Rema Chronicles #1)

Came in perfect condition and very wonderful amazing book.

My 10 yr old read this book in 3 days and is begging me to check weekly if the next book came out.

I have been a fan of Rema for so long (way back when it was a webcomic), and was so sad back then when it was stopped. And then so excited when I heard that it was going to be rereleased (been following its progress from novel to graphic novel) ! I was very happy that it's being continued as a graphic novel, as the art was one of my draws into the first iteration.The book is very high quality, with a beautiful sleeve. The art is crisp and all the colors pop. The storyline is as engrossing as it was all those years ago, with changes that make it flow even better!Honestly, I read through too fast! Book 2 soon, please? ;)

I really enjoyed this graphic novel! The illustrations and writing are great, and it seems to be going somewhere quite interesting.Here’s my one small caveat (which dropped it from 5 to 4 starts, so still very good!): The publisher thinks this book is good for 8 to 12 year olds, but I don’t want my eight year old daughter to be distracted by the awkwardness of teenage attraction to the opposite sex. I think that dynamic muddles the book a bit. It’s not over the top or anything like that, just something I wish wasn’t present.

My kids and I have really enjoyed this book.

Waited for this a looooong time. Since she was only a web comic. This book didn't disappoint what my memory told me it was about. I was still shocked with the story and love put into this great adventure. Perfect for kids or adults.

My students and I couldn’t wait to get our hands on Rema! It did not disappoint. Now, we await the next book in the series!👍🏽

A great opening to a new world, full of mysteries and intrigue. So many questions, so much to explore, and so much to look forward to in future books.

Bought this for my 11 year old who used to love reading but suddenly stopped. She’s into manga/anime, so I thought a graphic novel might just do the job, get her reading again. I bought two others at the same time - Primer and The City of dragons. My daughter put her iPad down the minute I showed her the books, got hold of them and ran off to her room to read. She loved reading all three books, finished this one in one sitting, occasionally shouting “oh my god this is brilliant!” I say that’s a result! 😀When she put the book down she asked to get the book 2 of this one, but sadly, that’s still a work in progress so she will have to wait a while! She said this one is the best one out of the 3!

If anyone is interested in Manga or have a child interested this is a happy medium.It's got a great story and wonderful illustration. A nice little intro to Japanese style comic books and manga.

Really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next in the series.

An excellent read that is similar but unique and different from other publications like (and I am sure this is used often, so I apologize) ‘Amulet’.Great story, female lead (empowering) and superbly illustrated!

Well written and the visuals were stunning. I am in love with this book. I hope for more in the future.
