With stud, nut, washer at the top?** A: No, this anchor is not tapped and threaded like the 14" model. The PE10 has a 1" hex head. **Q: will this work its way through crushed stone pack?** A: Yes, I have tried it in this application. That said, it does not hold well in crushed stone/gravel. It works best in compact sand/soil. **Q: Would four (4) these anchors be sufficient for a 4' X 10' lean-to shed sitting on pavers? I will need the anchors to penetrate through the pavers.** A: Depending on the soil condition the PE10 Penetrators have been tested to up to 1,000lbs of pull out per anchor. Our anchors are designed for use in soil. The anchors are made from aluminum, so if the pavers are made of a concrete type material it may chip away at the aluminum flights during installation. The flights on the anchors are what provide the holding power, so if the flights are significantly damaged it will alter the holding capacity that we have provided from our testing to an unknown number. **Q: I am looking for an anchor to secure 1 1/4" pipes vertically to the ground. Which american earth anchor is the best solution? Thanks in advance.** A: The best American Earth Anchor to use for your application is going to vary depending on your specific type of application. Is there only one pipe that needs to be anchored? If there are going to be multiple pipes will there be any cross bracing? If you can go into a little more detail, I will be able to direct you to the proper anchor better. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality. *by M***. on September 7, 2021* The screws did the job like they were was supposed to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great anchos for almost anything *by A***A on June 29, 2021* The screws are awesome, they work great to stabilize our light weight camper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by D***R on August 8, 2018* As advertised and on time --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/31502637-penetrator-10-aluminum-screw-earth-anchor-holds-up-to-1](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/31502637-penetrator-10-aluminum-screw-earth-anchor-holds-up-to-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
