It wasn't quite what I expected but compared to other meters it was reasonable value for what it does. It's all about price and requirements. It was neither bad nor good. It seems to pick up RF signals ok but I was hoping to be able to calibrate the alarm to only trigger on very high readings. Maybe you can do this but I couldn't work it out. I had a £300 meter once that was no different. The area I live in is so saturated with RF that these meters are virtually in constant alarm. If you live in the country it might be more useful but I struggled. I don't think it's bad for the money just not for me. By the way the one's the professionals use are £25,000 so don't think these types of units will ever really tell you that much but they can help detect hotspots I suppose but only if you don't live in one all the time. You could try one and use the excellent return policy if it isn't useful but it may well be for you. I'd avoid spending much more than this unless you are a professional. I don't think you'd get much more functionality unless you drop a few grand on a pro one.

Arrived on time. Easy to use and does what it claims to do at a decent price.

Great EMF monitor for the money. Very easy to use, simply dial to the EMF you're interested in measuring (Electric, magnetic or RF) and this monitor clearly displays the value as well as indicator whether the value is above normal range. We used it to identify "hot" spots around the home and took action to either lower the EMF or move the device away from high traffic areas. I highly recommend.

Package arrived yesterday and opened today. Initial evaluation shows excellent quality and provision of two sets of batteries would suggest that he manufacturers have confidence in their product that it will be used on an ongoing basis. All the features are intuitive and work well, compared to previous less costly. poor responding EMF Meters I've used. I look forward to testing it out in the field and do hope it performs to expectations. The capability 5G performance is a new entity to explore with this meter.

Dopo aver provato un tester più economico, mi sono deciso ad optare per questo modello 4 volte più costoso, ma più chiaro da utilizzare e sufficientemente preciso per un uso casalingo. Il Latnex AF-5000, è un buon compromensso tra leggibilità, precisione e costo (la Latnex è specializzata in questa famiglia di strumenti). E' intuitivo da usare, alimentato con batterie alcaline che permettono un utilizzo sporadico senza scaricarsi (al contrario di quelli ricaricabili). Il menu è essenziale e facile da comprendere, selezionabile in Inglese, Francese, Spagnolo. Si possono gestire le unità di misura. Arriva con 6 pile alcaline, anche se ne servono solo 3. Nelle misurazioni bisogna precisare alcune cose. L'operazione di misurazione di questi campi non ha nulla a che vedere con le misure elettriche con un voltimetro. Le onde elettromagnetiche e le radiofrequenze sono campi di energia e la misurazione dipende dalla posizione dello strumento nello spazio, questo AF-5000 è di tipo direzionale, quindi il rilevamento deve essere fatto puntando lo strumento verso la sorgente. Altri strumenti misurano sui 3 assi, la scelta dipende da cosa vogliamo fare. Questo strumento non è accompagnato da raccomandazioni o suggerimenti di utilizzo, ed in rete non si trova una documentazione che dia un protocollo per operare sui campi EMF e RF, è facile quindi che non si riesca a capire se la misurazione è corretta o meno. Una cosa importante se si vuole misurare il campo elettrico, è di tenere conto che tenedo in mano lo strumento il nostro corpo fa da condensatore e da sponda, questo fa si che alla misurazione si sommi il potenziale in V che proviene dal nostro corpo. Di fatto bisognerebbe usarlo stando distanti dal tester, (nelle misure professionali raccomandano 3mt), io per misurare il campo elettrico uso un supporto che tiene il tester a circa 60-70cm, in questo modo puntando il tester ad esempio vicino ad una presa del 230Vac la misurazione è sicura. Il problema non c'è con le EMF e le RF. E' uno strumento utile nel caso si voglia schermare alcune zone della casa, oppure per posizionare e distanziare in modo sicuro i dispositivi emettitori di RF (router e hotspot). Personalmente nel panorama attuale per questa tipologia di prodotto, lo reputo un buon acquisto.
