Do they come with lids

Are these air tight? Do they help prevent oxidation?

These bins are relatively airtight but can assist in preventing oxidation depending on what type of product you are trying to protect. We always recommend best practices for food handling as the only truly airtight way to prevent oxidation is through vacuum packaging. For example, potatoes can be protected from oxidation in these bins if they are stored in liquid or tossed in an acid after cutting, and meat should always be packed with appropriate barriers such as steak or butcher paper.

I don't see anything in the description that says "food safe" or which plastic was used to make it. is it polypropylene, hdpe, polycarbonate, etc?

These are definitely food safe. Used in the seafood industry to deliver and store seafood to restaurants, rep our poses for all kinds of food uses in restaurants. Says pp 5 with recycling symbol on them
