The laptop came with a damaged power cord, I wanted to send it back the next day but I had a bad experience with returns, so I decided to buy the cord myself.The laptop consumes power from battery even in a sleep mode , it does not update its drivers from the dell site , it crashes during updates , you will need to download the driver updates manually , from time to time , it crashes on a blue screen.

This unit (Dell 5406 i5-1135G7 32Gb/1Tb SSD) is a NEW, vendor upgraded to the max, 2020 launch, touchscreen laptop from PConline365. The equivalent 2021 model, albeit slightly faster, is advertised at twice the price with lesser options. This machine is a screamer and a bargain.Have NEVER reviewed ANYTHING in six+ years on Amazon Prime, or anywhere else for that matter. It is said people share a pleasant buying experience with a few, but a bad experience they will tell everybody. So let us break that pattern.This transaction was exceptional. I had a career in purchasing management for a tech service company from 1983 to 1993, and in customer service for two different major phone/internet providers until 2014. Done this before, folks.Suffice it to say, I did extensive outside research on laptops (and vendors) for two weeks prior to this major purchase. Am delighted with my choice. It was adequately charged and fired up right out of the box.The point, however, is the vendor--PConline365. Highly recommend them.They responded promptly to my email inquiries before choosing this computer. First one I sent was a Saturday at 22:15 expecting a reply on Monday, as is common. Got a thoughtful response within 45 minutes! Continuing exchanges were equally as prompt and helpful. Doubtless, they respond to calls/voicemails similarly.Moreover, I placed the order at 07:30 the following Sunday, expecting to receive my new PC on the following Wednesday as advertised. Received email from Amazon at 10:30 Sunday, saying it was packed and labeled, ready to ship. It arrived Tuesday at 19:00, signature required.Further, PConline365 deals only in tech products. Some other Amazon vendors are speculative liquidators who sell clearance items like vacuums and pillows as seen on TV. So do your homework.One added benefit, it shipped from Delaware, which has no sales tax, saving about $70 over my home state.I am pickled tink. Six stars!
