Perfect purchase for a broken nose - 2018-2019 season! My son plays HS Vars Basketball and is very physical. He plays center and during a game, he took a hit to his nose and it broke and took another hit and it bled - he was pulled from the game. He dreaded the idea of not playing during season. I quickly did my research and decided to take a chance and purchase this product. It arrived quickly and the fit was excellent. The straps worked great and he was able to adjust to it with minimal vision issues. We were nervous but it protected his nose perfectly. There was a small problem, the seam on the foam started to separate. I contacted the seller and sent a pic. They quickly sent me a whole new mask instead of just replacing the foam and allowed me to keep the old mask. Another player on a different team also broke his nose and asked to use the older one, he did and it worked well for him. This mask allowed my son to not miss a game and he played well. He still was physical and trusted that the mask would do it's job! His nose healed and he played into the championship game and they won. This season is about to start up again and I hope he doesn't have to use it! But trust me, we would in a heart beat if needed! My daughter in early November had a nasty injury going up for a header in a soccer game. It pretty much split open the length of her whole eyebrow. The injury required a plastic surgeon and more than 50 stitches to repair the injury. The PS recommended three months to allow the wound to fully heal. This would mean she would sit out the whole high school season. She really wanted to play so I started to research the different type of face masks and most were to protect the nose and not so much this area of the head. Even after reading most of the reviews of this product most were for broken noses. However the design of this mask was much more unique than the others I have looked at. It fits on top of the forehead and leaves plenty of space and protection for this part of the eye. It is also always great for vision while playing. I ordered it on Monday and received it on Wednesday right before her game. She wore it for the first time during the game and it was like she was not even wearing it. She ever headed a couple of balls with it. (Not sure she should be doing that but she said it felt fine). She told me it was a little strange wearing it for the first time but forgot it was even on by the end of the game. Great product fits well and seems to be very durable.

I ordered this mask after my son broke his nose in a basketball game. I paid for expedited shipping since he was not allowed to play without protection. It came on time for him to be able to play and not miss any. The mask is a very good mask. It is very lightweight, and protects the nose from all angles. It limited his peripheral vision some, but he was able to play normally. His face got very sweaty as with any mask I'm sure and had to readjust to keep in the correct position occasionally. Overall, it was an excellent purchase and did the job very well, especially for under $50. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is probably the best mask you can buy that is not custom made. I found for playing soccer that it still effected my peripheral vision which in turn effected my sense of balance while playing. But I don't see how it could be better. I just didn't need as much area for my nose but didn't want to pay for a custom made mask. Overall it was comfortable and withstood sweat and active play.

Excelent item. Great quality, and the shipping took 7 days all the way to Colombia! Greatly recommended! The only downside is that it does blocks a little bit your vision to your feet, so when playing football you get a little bit lost qhen you have the ball, but it's totally manageable and it sure beats not playing at all!!!If having doubts between this model (the whole face mask) or the small one (which covers only eyes and cheakbones) pick this one! If you have an injury on your nose, you'll need the faceguard to be away from your nose, so that if you get a blow to your nose the mask will absorb the impact on your forehead and your cheaks not your nose at all!!!! The small faceguards rest on top of your nose so any blow will be entirely absorbed by your nose!

My daughter had her nose broken in an AAU basketball game (5th grade). We looked for a mask that still had good court vision. After reading several reviews, we decided to purchase this one. She loves it. Her court vision is not affected and she has been hit again a couple times and this has protected her nose. Easy to breathe as well. She wore it for the remainder of the AAU season (3 months). Unfortunately, later this year she took another elbow and has her nose rebroken. She has decided to just keep wearing the mask since it is comfortable. Easy to take off and on and adjustable. Would highly recommend.

My son broke his nose and was required to wear a nose protector. We tried the Mueller mask and the vision was was adequate from left to right but when you look down the white pads obstructed his vision...we debated on buying a custom mask for $250 but opted to go this route instead since there was only 3 weeks left in the season. Works amazing and the way my son plays it has been tested numerous times. This mask is a great value and provides all the protection and confidence an athlete needs. As rough as basketball has become it should be standard equipment.
