Not all features on this bag can get wet!
We went on vacation and I brought this bag with us to use on the beach and at the pool. It was great until I started to realize that there was RUST developing where the metal grommet eyelets are. These are for reinforcing the holes where the rope handles meet the bag, but they shouldn't be rusting. This canvas tote bag is cute and it's supposed to be waterproof, but the design needs tweaking. Now I have rust stains on the top of my new bag and on the white rope handles because the bag got a little wet. And this was only my FIRST time to use it, too!

Hole in pockets
Bought this big bag for our trip to Maui. Pros: It was big enough to hold 3 towels, a beach blanket, 3 water bottles, 4 toy dinos, 2 bottles of sunblock, and a book. It has 2 good sized pockets, BUT: one of the pockets had a hole in it which we discovered when the bag seemingly ate our hotel key.

Fabulous beach bag!
I've had many beach bags over the years. This is one of my favorites. It is huge, waterproof, extremely lightweight and easy to carry.It doesn't look expensive, but it looks like it's worth more than it costs.Excellent purchase!
