I bought this to try and help support my hips - as I have EDS. Even though it's not specifically made for this, I thought I'd give it a try. It works well keeping my hips in place/supported, and I adjust it as needed. It does slip/move down a bit, but hips are tough to support - and again, this wasn't specifically made for this. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

nice belt for support

I have scoliosis. Unless I am wearing support underwear, I have pain throughout the day in the affected area near my hips and waist. In the evening, when I change into my night clothes, I have no support. I've found that wearing this belt around my waist over my pajamas diminishes that and enables me to walk around the house without pain until I ultimately go to bed and remove it. I marked it down one notch simply because the belt sometimes slips down while I'm walking. I recognize that if I wore it underneath my PJ's, that likely would not happen.

Keep in the woman is anorexic and the belt really is only about 2 inches wide. If it had been about 3 inches it would habve been perfect.

This belt was great at first! The velcro started failing after 2 weeks. I'm constantly having to reattached the tension bands.

Comes lose after using it, the velcro they used is not good quality
