Can this be used on low porosity, healthy, undamaged hair?

Yes it can. Just use a small amount. Your hair definitely does not need to be damaged or not porous. If you like ouidad, I would not recommend curlsmith. It seems to be one or the other for people. Ouidad makes my hair greasy in top and dry on the ends so I look awful as curlsmith makes it smooth and keeps frizz at bay without blow drying with a diffuser.

Can anyone comment on the artificial fragrance of this product? I can't handle synthetic fragrance. Olaplex for ex. is so bad, it lingers.

It does have a strong smell, very sweet, almost like candy. The smell does linger, so it might be too much for you.
