No more hand fatigue...love these DPNs!
I bought the Clover size 13 bamboo DPNs over a year ago with the intent of one day learning how to use these traditional tools to make hats. In the interim, I purchased a set of circular needles with short tips and used those for a while to make other things. When the day arrived to make a pair of leg warmers, I struggled miserably with those shorty needles -- the cord was an inch too long for the project and the stitches would get stuck every time they would be worked, resulting in uneven stretched stitches and cramped hands. I nearly gave up on the leg warmers until I realized that today was the day I was going to teach myself how to use those DPNs buried in my crafts box. I now have half of a pair of leg warmers finished, thanks to these lovely Clover bamboo DPNS, and no more hand cramps! I had so much fun using these Clover bamboo DPNs that I'll never use short circular needles again for projects that can be finished using DPNs. These Clover bamboo DPNS are smooth, well finished, warm to the touch, have just enough friction to prevent your stitches from falling off, and have a very pleasant percussive sound to them as you work -- sort of like wooden wind chimes. I can't recommend these DPNs enough. Happy knitting.

Love Clover/Takumi Circulars
I absolutely love the durability and comfort of the Clover/Takumi circular needles. These are rated a 4 star on ease of holding, because they are hard to hold. And that is simply because of the tiny size of the circular length, 9" is much smaller than you anticipate, until you get your hands on them. I tend to need breaks so my hands don't cramp. But they do work great for socks and slippers. I love them, and they're worth the price in my opinion.

Pointy! These are excellent needles.
I rated these five stars overall, but only 3 stars for easy to use, and 3 stars for sturdiness, but let me explain why: They are a bamboo size 3 needle. They're tiny. If I wanted to, I could snap one in half. And they're not that easy to use, because they are bamboo. They have friction, so they are what is referred to as a "slow" needle. But that is why I buy the bamboo needles.I like slow. Because these are a size 3, and very tiny, they are very pointy. If you have sensitive fingers, you'll need something to cushion your fingers. I was using bandaids til I realized I was wasting money on bandaids. I started using masking tape around my left index finger. It works well, is cheap, and I won't run out any time soon.I like a long double point needle, so I was worried that 7 inches wouldn't be long enough. I prefer 8. However, with the size of the stitches a size 3 needle makes, I get more stitches in less space, so the 7 inches is just fine.If you are beginner and want to learn working in the round, try to find a simple hat pattern and work it on 16 inch size 8 circular needles, and 8 inch size 8 double point needles. The smaller you get on yarn size and needle size, the harder it is to knit with.I wish all of you happy knitting!

Not Blunt Tip
Everything about them is fine, except I wish the tips were more blunted. They are just a tad sharp/narrow which bothers my fingers over enough time. Worked fine with my 100% Alpaca yarn. Not a major issue but worth mentioning.

Clover Takumi Bamboo needles are always my first choice
I've been knitting for 16 years and have plenty of experience with good and bad knitting needles. Clover Takumi Bamboo needles are always my first choice and I recommend them to all knitters, beginning and experienced. They're smooth so they're gentle on your hands, do not snag your yarn, slide your stitches easily to work with, but are not slippery so they don't cause your stitches to all fly off uncontrollably. Highly recommend these simple and beautiful needles!

I enjoy the feel of bamboo needles
I enjoy knitting with this specific brand of bamboo needles. I bought Takumi needles before and so far I have never had a problem with them. I use bamboo needles whenever knitting speed is not critical or I do not want to loose stitches too easily. In comparison to plastic needles, bamboo is smoother than plastic. It makes the yarn glide easier and it simply feels better in my hands. I cannot knit as fast as with high quality steel needles, but when I knit complicated patterns and I do not want to lose my stitches, I take my time and use bamboo.

Super product!
Often I uses one long circular needle to knit with but I was making a baby sweater and ran into a problem. It was knit from the neck down and sleeves were done separately. These were the perfect solution. They are polished so stitches slide enough yet they have enough “ grab” to keep stitches from falling off or needles to drop out which is a problem with metal needles. I also like that they have the size printed right in the needles! No more fiddling around with trying to figure out which is which. Highly recommended!

Sturdy & reliable
I bought these for my 12 year old niece that has just learned to knit. They work great! The slip resistance is enough for a beginner but slides nicely as she is learning. (compared to metal needles). These hold a fair amount of weight. The memory in the cord has not yet straightened out, but that is not a concern for us. I was afraid of buying knitting needles so cheaply priced, but they are well worth the purchase. I feel these will last her a while since the cord is so sturdy. I will update my review if they show any signs of wear. Very happy we purchased and will be purchasing more of this brand in the future!

Good Quality
These needles are beautiful! They are very lightweight and smooth, and clearly labeled. I recently tried a knitting loom as I am going to make some winter hats to donate, and found the gauge was just too large and I preferred regular knitting... so I thought I’d try circular knitting needles (which are still in transit). This is my first experience with this brand and I am very impressed with the quality! I can’t wait until the circular needles arrive, and if I’m not very good at it to start with, it certainly won’t be the fault of the product!

Not everyone will like bamboo knitting needles
Not everyone will like bamboo knitting needles, but I do so it works well for me. Also the plus side of these kind of needles is that they are airport friendly. It does take time to get used to, if you are not used to using bamboo. I tried other materials and bamboo was the best one for me.

Sturdy and smooth
They're sturdy, very smoothly made bamboo circular needles. I really like how they feel. Perfect for knitting hats with chunkier yarn.

Great needle set
Quality product. It is an ease to use. Bamboo needles always help with yarn slippage. This unit is a small package that allows maximum length of knitting.
