I've charged it fully, The bars drop so quickly and it just shuts off.** A: I’ve never had an issues with over charging. Or with temperatures drops or increases. I think you have one with a faulty battery. I use mine for night photos. Two separate selectors give you access to rotate through the RGB spectrum **Q: Battery life** A: I use the IVISII G2 as a background and product light at 25% power and would say it has a long battery life compared to other similar lights I use. It also uses a USB C type plug that is more robust than the older style USB and charges faster.
