Seven hot deadly sins would make anyone greedy 😉
Z a.k.a Zara (dont worry im not giving any plot away by giving you the lead characters name) is a deadly assassin with has a deep hatred of Nightmares. Of course with a job title like hers thats who she assassinates but only the nastiest ones. In the course of this book she manages to kill a target & get herself entered into a competition by a stroke of luck depending on how you look at it. Not sure Z would think its was either because its a competition to the death. Last man or woman standing and all that. Enough of giving the story away by me. Plenty of hot men, sexy and funny situations. Two great sidekicks which add to the wise cracks. Overall i really liked this book. Read it in one day so i will definitely be reading future books in this series

Love!
I have been in a RH book slump for weeks and this book finally pulled me out of it! It's so good! I loved the world building and characters. The men all felt unique and interesting, I'm looking forward to finding out more about them in the next book.

Brilliant start to a series
This book is a brilliant start to a brand new series from this amazing author. The MFC is strong minded and isn't afraid of a fight or getting her hands dirty. I can't wait to read more about her and her seven mates.

Low quality
I'm not going to lie to you, the author has some persistent problems in her writing that are starting to make me equate her name to poor quality. The protagonist is always far too dense in putting two and two together. I should not be able to figure things out before my protagonist. Some of the plot "twists" are so blindingly obvious that it makes the book pretty much unreadable. If the author can't manage sophistication in her writing, my advice would be to Practice Before You Publish. And don't use editors who are fawning fans; they're letting you down worse than you're letting yourself down. These were the same problems in another of the author's novels Gangs and Ghosts. Why are your female protagonists always dense, Katie? Pretty insulting to females everywhere, in all honesty. I can't get behind a slow protagonist. It's actually painful to read. I can't get behind the plot being blindingly obvious; it's either lazy writing or incompetence.

Lots of story, lots of characters.
Difficult book to rate. At first I thought this was a series I had read before quite some time age. The basic storyline and the cast of main characters seemed familiar. By the end of the book I still could not shake this though I am much less certain. There is definitely a good story waiting to be told though I did find it a little laboured at times. I have to admit I have never been comfortable with the style of writing where chapters are written looking at the story from a particular characters view point. With so many characters introduced so early it made the story disjointed.Nevertheless by the end of the book it was clear there is a long road ahead before the story reaches its end. As a result I will definitely continue to follow the series.Book two
