Light Duty
I have been tearing these hydration packs up on the paintball field and in tactical training events here in Florida. I first started with the MOLE pack as in mil-spec surplus units and they did not hold up and are expensive to replace. Then I went to the very inexpensive China packs and they did not last either. Now enter the mid-range units like the Musetech product. This pack is smaller than some packs but not as small as some China packs. This is not design to carry much more than the bladder and is on the light duty side with both the material and construction. The stitching is single throughout and the zippers are on the “Be Careful” side of use or you will break them. The bladder itself will need curing before use unless you like the garden hose taste of your water. I recommend you filling the bladder and then add a half teaspoon of bleach and let it set over night in your garage. The garage thing is more to let it air out than anything else. Again this hydration pack is not for rough service by any means and may be allocated to casual walks in the park. For the pro bicyclist this is not for you, the strong back is weak and the pockets are not compartmented. The hose is standard plastic hose with leads into the BPA or also known as Bisphenol A. How much of this substance is present in the overall build even though they claim the “Bladder” is BPA free. I would have liked to seen a reinforced mesh covering on this tube with a better mouth piece. So if you have a light duty application that requires a hydration bladder at an affordable price you got it here. Great way to easily carry your water while hiking, camping, marching, or traveling.
Great way to easily carry your water while hiking, camping, marching, or traveling. The pack is made of good material. Zippers move freely with no sticking.Water pouch is made of durable BPA free plastic. The opening is wide enough to fit in ice cubes which we loved. It was very easy to fill and put in the pack. Tube and drinking spigot are also good quality. The shoulder straps are webbed. I have some concerns about how durable they are. They are holding up nicely here while we try it out. We will be trying it on an extended hike next weekend. They do have rings to hang other gear from for your convenience.Inside there is room to store other things if needed. My daughter will be using this during her extended hiking trip this summer. This is a very good addition to any trip. The additional storage space was a huge bonus for her. She will have very little to carry but this Hydration Pack makes it easy for her to carry the essentials as she travels.I received this product for free or a reduced price in exchange for an honest review. I will always be honest. I purchase a lot online and really appreciate an honest review. I will look over and use all parts of each product I receive. I will be honest posting the positive and negative for each item.

Disappointed with this purchase
I ordered this product in September as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The product appeared to be in good condition, but after she filled it for the first time on Christmas morning the water bladder leaked all over. When we looked, there were two holes in the water bladder. Of course, it's past its returnable date so now we are stuck with a product we can't use. She's very disappointed and so am I.

Great for the price.
I got to try this Hydration pack this weekend while mountain biking. Everything was great! except it felt like the nozzle kinda drips a little while closed (it seems like it just drips the left over). they should implement some kind of magnetic or velcro holder for the nozzle so that it doesnt just dangle while riding on the trails and its attached to the shoulder or chest level instead.

Too many things overlooked.
I purchased this free/discounted to test and provide my honest feedback.I pack has had more negatives than positives about it , many things that could have been avoided with a lottle more research for the p&d dept.I like that is has 2 separate pockets, and also a slot for the bladder. The bungy cord is nice, for carrying coats, blankets etc.I like the metal rings on the front of the straps, great for attaching keys, cameras etc.It holds a large amount of water, that's a great and necessary thing.I didn't really care either way about the rubbery mess webbed shoulder straps, honestly, I would probably prefer a padding instead, 72 oz of water can get heavy on your shoulder.I did not like:The opening to the bladder, is weirdly located, hard to fill, even harder to empty. The mouth piece opening, it's pretty small, you have to suck for longer because of that, and it gets annoying. There are 4 "pads" that rest against you when wearing, except the pads have almost no padding in them. The shape is blah, it's very square, meaning it feels more bulky than an hourglass one would. There's no where to clip or attach the drinking tip, it goes through a slot, but then just hangs on your chest loose. No interior padding/insulating whatsoever, it's needed for sure.No sternum strap? What!? That's honestly so important for packs like this. It 100% changes the way a pack feels. Heavy and annoying without/ comfortable and barely noticeable with. The plastic bladder smells horrible, like chemical overload. You'll need to fill and soak it in vinegar at least overnight.

The worst water pack
The worst water pack. The water tastes like cheap plastic. Don't buy this hydration pack. I wouldn't have my dog drink from it.

Nice - fit all of my needs
Nice - fit all of my needs. Small and light with a nice barrier between the bladder and your body. Straps are comfortable enough. Good product.
