Worth the price
I did not really how expensive pumpkin powder was until I had to look for some. The one that’s supposed to be made for dogs (but it’s really just pumpkin powder) is soooo expensive. I had my doubts since some people reviewed that it had other spices but no, at least not my batch. It’s smells and tastes just like plain dried pumpkin, and the dogs are fine with it and so is their stomachs.

Great way to add pumpkin fiber without opening a can
Love having a quality pumpkin that’s easy to sprinkle on my dogs food. He loves the flavor too. I haven’t tried making a pumpkin pie with it but it’s possible. Very good quality, and it has great flavor.

1 of 2 dogs will Chow Down
My Pit Bull eats it up but my Jack Russel has become more and more hesitant to chow down. It is helping the Pit with anal gland issues.I am mixing 1 cup of the pumpkin powder, 1/4 cup NaturVet digestive enzymes, 1 quart of water and 1 quart of Swanson Unsalted Chicken Stock from Walmart. I give a nice liberal squirt on their food using 2x Jumbo 4 PCS 32oz Squeeze Bottles from Amazon. I mix it all together in a 1 gallon jug and then shake the heck out of it to get rid of any clumps.03/26/2023I decided to stop using this for my dog's anal gland smell because I got lazy. Big mistake. The smell came back within a week or so. Sifting the powder before mixing is advisable to prevent clumps. It is worth the effort.

great as a natural food coloring
Great for a no-chemical food coloring. Colors were very nice and could not be tasted in the frosting I created with it. Will purchase again, when needed.

Not what I expected from description
1. This smells and tastes spiced even though the ingredients do not list any spices2. Do NOT use in coffee. It creates sludge at the bottom of your cup, it does not dissolve3. I may be able to use this for baking, possibly smoothies or as an ice cream topping if I want graininess, but that's itMy original plan to use this as a dietary supplement is impossible due to the spiciness of the powder.
