Perfect for my patio door for my dogs

I bought a few. One for each door we use often. The adhesion works a little too well if anything. I noticed it actually started stripping the paint from the doorframe especially after a pretty hot summer. So to avoid that I only used the tacks provided to tack down the screen. There’s plenty provided so use generously. It’s great for dogs, kids, the whole bunch.Pros:Great adhesiveBlocks most everything as far as bugs goSlight sun protection/gives a little shade for entry areaPretty toddler proof…my LO uses it as a railing basically to let themselves out and it has withstood the testCons:Adhesive works too well. I’d recommend using rubbing alcohol when time to remove screen or simply using only the mounting tacks to mount the screenCan leave a little bit of a gap at the bottom if your housing foundation is slightly elevated as most are. For the most part this has not caused an issue with keeping bugs out. We usually just knock the screen a bit before going through if it’s that time of evening for mosquitoes or we see a fly or two hanging out on the screen.

The product does what it is suppose to do. Received it in a timely manner, very simple to set up and works exceptionally well from keeping the bugs out when I just want to have my patio door open for some fresh air. Also pet friendly it took my dog a minute to figure out how to go through it by now there’s no stopping her.

I've owned numerous magnetic screens. This is bay far 100% better than any on the market. Ive bought so many and they all are cheap. NOT THIS SCREEN! First of all the magnets are long and fill the entire length of the screen, second of all it fits my 8ft tall slider without having to modify and third is that the screen material is much much thicker than any other screen on market. The velcro on sides and top are not cheap but extremely good at holding in place with heavy heavy traffic and 4 large golden retriever dogs going in and out. Theres something we do that makes our screen a bit different. We attach our magnetic screen onto the frame of our screen door that slides. My husband painted the screen door frame black and added a wood trim around edges which allowed our door to be opened completely, or to remove screen and switch to another slider without reinstalling. We use these 12 months out of the year and the added wood frame trim around the screen door allows us to use heavy duty staples to attach the Velcro to the screen door permanently. Of course this is not needed if you just want to use the magnetic screen alone but we have stucco above our opening and velcro wouldnt hold without having to permanently attach to stucco. I'd rather attach to screen door. Either way this is by far the best on the market. The two pics shows screen door closed and how we can also slide to left still and not remove magnetic screen door.

We live in a double wide trailer home and wanted a screen door on our front entrance. I got this to put for the time being and ended up leaving it on. My son-in-law put it up without a problem. After a year of summer heat, the top tap started to release it's hold. I put a few small nails where it was coming loose and that solved the problem. Our dog noses it open to go in or out. The material has held up well. I don't think I'll be getting a regular screen door now. This serves me just fine.

So far this door has held up and we have tons of kids and dogs running through it daily. The magnets are strong and hold together well once you get the door adjusted correctly. The complaint I have is the the magnets are long and so to get it to fit my particular door (our door is odd at 88in.x34in and I have trouble finding exact matches) I had to make folds in the top because I didn't want to cut the magnets in half. It still works perfect, it just looks a bit messy. I don't care but my husband likes things to be lined up and he doesn't like to look at it. Lol. It has an odd lace at the top that I could go without but I didn't bother to take it off either. We have made a small doorframe to staple our screen too, this is like our 10th one, first of this brand, so I did not use the loop and hook velcro. I have found in the past that the glue on those strips does not stand up to our heat and the door will start falling off leaving a gross mess behind it. We live in Sacramento and it gets hot.

Cheap materials, small magnets. A light breeze forces it open. Useless.
