## Description

Product Description Applicable Headunit models AC-HD02LR: This AC-HD02LR works with A6 KarLink, A6 Performance, the F7 Series, S8Series and the X10 Series car stereos. It is NOT compatible with A6 Y, SA102, P5, P8, P8AI, P9 or any other car stereos. Besides, S8 models manufactured before Jan. 2021 (also known as S8 Gen 1) can support AC-HD02LR, but the system firmware update is required before the LRV feature can work properly. See the rearview camera comparison table below for more details. Specifications： ·Product Model: AC-HD02LR ·Image sensor format: 1/2.9” CMOS · Pixels：1280(H)x720(V) · White balance: automatic · Backlight compensation: Yes · Noise reduction: 3D DNR · Video Frame rate: 720P@30FPS · Video Signal Out：Analogue HD signal, 1.0 Vp-p / 75Ω · Working Voltage: DC 12V · Working Current: 130mA～150mA · Working Temperature：-30℃～+80℃ (-22°F ～ 176°F) · Rear-view guideline: Not built-in, provided by Car stereo system · Waterproof Rate: IP67 · Night-vision: YES ·Lens Viewing Angle: 150 Degrees · Powering method: powered by ATOTO Headunit or vehicle's Accessory (ACC). · Rearview Image Access: (1).When vehicle is in reverse gear, the rearview will display on the headunit display; (2). Manually run Rearview app when vehicle is moving ahead, or use steering wheel keys (if applicable). For selected S8 (Gen2) modes that come with Hand Gesture operation, gesture control is available; HD 720P Rear-View Video Signal Output Traditional car stereos can only take and display 400-600 lines CVBS rearview video signal. Working with specific ATOTO head-unit models, The AC-HD02LR can output an HD 720P rearview video signal, and you can have an HD color display on the ATOTO headunit. Say goodbye to the snowy static picture screen when reversing a vehicle. How does the LRV feature Work? ATOTO LRV (Live Rear-View) technology Live RearView (LRV) Feature - Access Rearview even if the vehicle is moving ahead. This could remove obstructions of passengers, headrests, and the vehicle’s roof and rear pillars, increasing field of view and allowing the driver an unimpeded view of the lanes behind and traditional blind-spots. To use this feature, special wiring is required, see below for reference. Easy Installation, compatible with selected ATOTO S8 (Gen2) models Unlike traditional backup cameras that are powered up by reversing lamp of the vehicle, AC-HD02LR is rewired to be powered by a head-unit or vehicle's ACC power (Accessory) wire. And built-in hardware in selected ATOTO head-unit is required to make sure camera's video signal can be read and displayed without putting your vehicle into reverse gear.

Review: Good quality camera - I wanted a reversing camera for my pickup truck. It has an Atoto S8 Standard head unit installed. I don't have much experience of working on vehicles but was able to fit the camera myself. It was tricky feeding the cable from the number plate where I attached the camera at the back to the front and into the cab. I used a plumbing pipe which I ran the cable in and then used cable ties to hold the pipe in place. This protects the cable from stones and other debris. I wired it into the reversing light which works well even though the circuit is created just by holding the end of the cable to the vehicle chassis with a cable tie. I hadn't expected this to be so effective! The camera is surprisingly clear and works well.
Review: Excellent quality - Excellent quality picture, and very easy configuration with the app on the Atoto S8 head unit. Easy to install, my only improvement would be a magnetic bracket to avoid having to screw the bracket in to the metal of the car

## Features

- HD 720P Rear-view Backup Parking Assist Camera, which can output 720P HD video signal. Special wiring design plus system firmware support allows user to have a live rearview when vehicle is moving ahead
- It only works on selected ATOTO car stereos (S8 /F7 /A6 /A5 /X10 Series) and the video image quality is much better than traditional cameras that output CVBS signal type. It is not compatible with other car stereo brands!
- If you own ATOTO S8 (Gen2), and it comes with virtual surround view feature, we highly recommend ATOTO AC-HD03LR camera instead.
- It does not work on the ATOTO P5, P8, P9 series. Besides, S8 models manufactured before Jan. 2021 (also known as S8 Gen 1) can support AC-HD02LR, but the system firmware update is required before the LRV feature can work properly.
- HD Rear View Backup Parking Assist Camera with Installation Cables. Easy to install: 2 Installation options, you could choose bracket mounting or flush mounting as per your case.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality

Excellent quality picture, and very easy configuration with the app on the Atoto S8 head unit. Easy to install, my only improvement would be a magnetic bracket to avoid having to screw the bracket in to the metal of the car

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality image in the daytime. Too wide-angled. Not much use in the night.
*by A***. on 7 February 2022*

Impressive picture quality. Too much wide angle though. No instructions on overlaying distance lines for reversing but easy enough to figure out once prompted online. Lens needs cleaning each journey. It's low down, so attracts road spray. Wipe with a cloth or tissue. Large hole needs drilling in tailgate to accommodate the cable join plug. Night time vision is poor on the road because of car headlights. I still have to practice using it to reverse. Not at all confident. Mirrors for now. Adds a feature for resale I guess.
