Miracle for a Nervous Old Dog and His Person
I am stunned by how well Tranquil tabs worked. My cocker spaniel is old now. He always hated to be groomed and bathed. It was always a fight. But as he got older, he hated even more until I had to get a muzzle so I could shave his coat without him growling and baring his teeth at me. Then these last few months, if I approach him with the scissors to trim the fur around his feet and his nails, he just trembled all over like a leaf. I couldn't do it. I got tranquil tabs yesterday, tried one tab today MIRACLE!!!! No shaking, no growling, no muzzle needed. He didn't love it, but he was calm and submitted without much protest. What a relief for both of us.Trimmed his fur again this week with Tranquil Tabs and he was even calmer than before. I think they are reconditioning him to be less fearful of the buzzing shaver and the snipping scissors working on him. I am so happy and so is he.

Amazing!!!
I have a dog that we rescued in S Texas. She had apparently been outside, in severe thunderstorms. Crackling and boomers. She’s a mess now. Storms can be several miles away and she’ll hear them before we do, and she’s stepping all over us, trembling, crying and way out of control. She was on a prescribed anxiety medication and that only slowed down her tremors, and all the jumping on us is still happening. Nothing like waking up to a medium size dog scratching at your head. Benedryl use to work, but not anymore. Thundershirt was useless on her. Hemp oils and other calming things don’t even touch her PTSD. When I know there will be storms or, I give them a few hours before and she is tired but not even close to how it use to be. She’s 37 lbs and I give her 2.

Some limited results
As anyone with a truly anxious dog will tell you, these over the counter supplements can be a real waste of money. My dog has extreme anxiety due mostly to separation and noises. She paces, pants and destroys things, jumps through windows and off the deck...anything to try to escape the noise and fear. In addition to Trazadone and Xanax, which I still administer on an as-needed basis, she had been on a daily dose of Zoloft, however I found that it made her lethargic. About a year ago, I started the slow processes of weaning her off of the Zoloft and began using these supplements daily in conjunction with other similar natural supplements. While she still panics because of storms, high winds, snow plows and other random noises, I have noticed a decrease in her regular daily anxiety. Unlike while taking Zoloft, she regularly runs around and plays with me and our other dog, no longer a constant lethargic couch potato. All that being said, she still suffers from acute anxiety at times so these supplement are by no means a cure-all for truly anxious dogs like mine. However, she is again able to enjoy herself and be a regular dog. She doesn't love the taste, so I crumble them into her food. For reference, she is a 50 pound black and tan coonhound whose anxiety came on as she go older. I give her 3 supplements with her morning meal and 2 with her evening meal in conjunction with other calming supplements.

Calms overly hyper dogs
I was very skeptical about how well Tranquil Tabs would work. I have two labs and a border collie and all are very hyper. The border collie is terrified of thunder and lightening. One of the labs is terrified of gunfire and fireworks, but the two biggest problems are excessive barking and social anxiety. I live in the country where I am somewhat isolated. All night long the dogs bark at every critter stirring, and since they don't see other people very often they get panicky when around strangers or when I take them in the car.My dogs get lots of exercise to wear them down but still remain pretty high strung. I've tried several other products, including Rescue Remedy, which helped a little, but not enough to justify the price. I read several reviews on Tranquil Tabs and decided to try it and much to my surprise it works pretty well to take the edge off. It doesn't resolve all their problems, but it works enough that my dogs are no longer major nuisances. The incessant barking has mostly stopped and when it occurs, they respond better when I tell them to stop. The two dogs that are afraid of storms and loud noises still get nervous, but not too the point of panic or destructive behavior. The social anxiety also has eased considerably. It's also helped some with the car rides, but they still get pretty wound up about that.I do not give this to my dogs everyday because I don't want them to develop tolerance to it. I only give it to them when a stressful situaion presents itself - usually two or three times a week. I usually give them two tabs each, and only once a day. It works better if you give it to them before they get to upset, so at the first sign of trouble, I give them the pills. Even though they are not taking the pills everyday, their overall demeanor is more relaxed and better behaved. Finally, when I went out of town for a week, I had the pet sitter give them pills everyday we were gone, when I came home, they did not looked totally stressed as they had in the past. So I am sold on Tranquil Tabs, and would strongly recommend them to anyone who has a anxious pet. Of course, always check with your vet before giving any supplements to your pets.
