Great setting and a fun variety of characters too! (Rodney cat is adorable!)
It was great visiting with Josie and all her new friends in Wilfred, OR again. I'd forgotten how Josie could go check things out using her mind but in her cat Rodney's body which was so cool! This was a mystery I definitely couldn't figure out, so I just went along for the ride and enjoyed the process. Josie was learning a lot from her grandma's letter she'd left her, and I was happy to see how far she'd come as far as her powers went. I've hoped since the first book that Josie and Sam could get together, and they might be one step closer to that by the end of the book. I loved how the whole town pulled together at the end. The showdown with the killer was scary for two different reasons-you'll see when you read it. I really wish the next one could come out sooner instead of having to wait another year!

Already can't wait for the next book!
Angela Sanders has done it again!! The perfect follow up to a great fun new series! I couldn't wait for this book to come out, and it did not disappoint! A charming old town full of history and secrets, not to mention an amazing library that Josie gets to live in as well as run. The paranormal element is perfect just the right amount to keep you sucked in, a book lovers dream who wouldn't want to be able to communicate with books, the way Josie is able to! Great twists and turns to keep you guessing up to the last page! Not to mention I love the newest Wilfredian's name! Nicky :-)

Magical Who-dunit!
The Seven-Year Witch is the second in the Witch Way Librarian and a fantastic who-dunit with the perfect touch of magic.Even better than the first book, the character of Josie and the town is becoming an intriguing landscape where I want to return and submerge myself into an alluring mystery and find out what new mystery will turn up! Can't wait for the 3rd book!!!!

Loved it!
I just wish the author could write as fast as I can read. I have read both Book 1 and this one, Book 2, almost straight through. I’ve loved both of them. The plots are well constructed and make sense. I like the characters and can get a feel for them. The writing is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Really a 3.5
This is a really quick story to read but misspelled words don’t rate a 4. The witch is learning how to channel her power thanks to her loving grandmother’s Spell book and all the loving full of informative letters she wrote for her “just in case you found your powers.”

A great mix of common sense.with.magic and of course books. Wilfred is a small town with all sorts of.odd.people plus a witchy librarian who tries to.sort out messes.

Great start to a new series
This book is the first in a series and the first of this author I have read. Angela M. Sanders combines a unique library with a smart cat companion and wonderful town characters; who are easy to like. I can't wait to read more.

Good mystery with a nice amount of magic and good common sense mixed in.
I enjoyed this cozy mystery. I love magic, I love a good mystery. The suspense and twists kept me interested. I like the different venue, too.
