Surprised
Honestly, surprised doesn't cut it. I'm SHOCKED at how amazing this thread is. I have DMC thread and I have friendship bracelet thread (I like the texture differences despite the very frustrating knotting) So I thought why not give this a shot. This thread is so soft, shiny and smooth it kept slipping right out of my needle when I wasn't paying attention. I've tried to compare it to my DMC thread but I feel like it's its own thing. UMC has comparable shine and softness, but the textures are slightly different. I'll be buying more of this thread. The colors are beautiful, the feel is soft, I'm super impressed.

Really Excited!
First of all, I am a novice (beginner) embroiderer. I have gotten through two separate kits both purchased on Amazon and I have purchased the majority of my supplies on this platform too.My introduction is meant to explain that I have experienced what the ideal embroidery floss is - and this is the best cost effective & amount that you will find on Amazon to be able to embroider with. This floss is comparable to regular DMC (what I consider the Holy Grail of floss) and is much better than many of the giant packs of “embroidery/cross stitch/bracelet thread” packs offered on Amazon. It’s not quite DMC value - but the price (50 skeins for $12.99) is better than 80-90 cents per skein before the taxes plus the, shipping and handling fees. You cannot do better for the price & the quality.Second, I really appreciate the color choice I received. As a newer convert to embroidery and cross stitching, I of course don’t have every color and shade of floss available. This is a really good starter set especially if you aren’t sure what pattern or design you will be creating yet. I wish there had been slightly more blues and purples but that’s me being super nitpicky and knowing that I had no idea what colors were going to be in this pack. This floss is the typical 6 thread skein - very easy to separate and divide into the amount of strands desired. If you do not own any thread conditioner, you may want to purchase one. I use a little plastic circular container of beeswax that I run the thread through after separating it because I live in California and we have been hitting over 100 degrees daily. Any floss that arrives through the mail will dry out and become more dry because of that.Third, if you are familiar with multi-colored floss like DMC’s Coloris or any other variegated floss shades, this pack included four skeins of that style (and I was not expecting any variegated shades at all!).This is a complete and honest review: I found it well worth it! I included two pictures above so you can see the shades I received of both the regular skeins and the four variegated ones.

Quality!
I really like this floss. In fact, have already purchased again. 100% Egyptian cotton ensures it's soft. There was no fuzziness, or lint, when I stitched with it. It is color-fast. And, best of all, I didn't get one knot while stitching my entire project!

Nicely presented in a box beautiful collection of colors
The media could not be loaded. I haven't had the chance to physically use these but they feel very good quality. I like the different color choice and the variegated thread. They seem to not to have a lot number on them so might be hard to match if you run out during a piece of work. For what I want then for I'm happy.

Perfect for Beginner's Embroidery
I decided recently to get into a new hobby; embroidery. I had been practicing using thread and needles that used to belong to my Grandmother. Well, most of that thread is gone, so time to look for new ones! At Joann Fabric, each skein of thread is about 60 cents. Doesn't seem much for 1 or 2, but it starts getting costly the more you buy. Then I found this pack. If I were to go to JF and buy the same number of skeins, it would cost me over $30 (if you include tax). Compared to that, this pack is a bargain. The threads themselves are beautiful, and have been perfect for my newly budding hobby. However, the only drawback is that these skeins are not numbered, so it would be difficult to buy specific replacements or follow certain patterns. However, since I'm just using this for practice, its perfect!

assortment of skeins
I am embroidering pillow cases as potential gifts. I like the assortment of colors but because there was only one skein of each color I had to order another box to finish the embroidery of the two cases.

Does not have brown thread!
Generally ok, but could have had one or two shades of brown instead of so many like colors.

Fantastic floss
This floss is beautiful. It lies on my fabrics very smoothly and very little to none tangling. It has a very soft texture due to being Egyptian cotton. The price is fantastic and I am very pleased that I purchased this and will again when I need more.

Proper cotton stranded embroidery thread
Nice thread. It's proper cotton, not polyester like so many other brands. I did a flame test to check. The packaging is a lookalike for the top brand and I find the quality of the thread indistinguishable from them. These are not numbered, but should be easy to match by sight. The colours are good, with a reasonable selection, including 5 variegated ones. They are labelled colourfast, although I haven't tested that myself yet.The thread is strong, smooth and works well. I sew with two strands usually and this separates easily. There are no issues with twist or rubbing and I would definitely recommend for beginners or expegienced embroiderers alike.

Excellent value for quality
Great service and delivery. I have now purchased 2 orders of these threads for a large project I am working on. They are ideal (not split) for working with Aida 9 count. The colours are vibrant and I am delighted with the work I have done so far. Excellent price for the bundle compared to individual shop prices. I would definitely recommend product and seller.
