Fit a 97 wrangler perfectly
This is for the dash vents. It was a pain to get comfortable under the dash but not a hard job. My old one was broken and still inside. Used to screw to extract it. Push this one in and dash vents functioned again.

This one controls the dash vents not the defrost
Usually don’t post but lots of fuss over this product and I want to help clear this up.This one is the .02 and controls the vent to the dash that hits your face not the defrost or the floor.The peace snaps right in just be gentle and cautious when doing so and take your time.I hope this clears up some concerns

Couldn’t control where the flow of air travelled from. This solved it.
Easy part to install that solved my directional airflow issue in my TJ. I have AC again!!!!

Works good.
It worked for the front vents for a 1997 Jeep Cherokee. It had to be modified by trimming the part that inserts in to the vent door and being screwed in.
