This receipt printer is Square compatible. It was incredibly easy to setup. If you have a router that hands out DHCP addresses automatically, simply hooking this printer up to an available switch port is all you need to do to get it operating in Square. As long as the mobile device is on the same network, it will see the device when you go in to setup the printer. The quality of the print is very good, and it prints quick. Keep in mind that multiple mobile devices can share this printer in Square. A great investment for a growing, tech-savvy business.

We tried the Star WiFi printer but it kept losing connection so I purchased this cat-5 wired printer, ran the wire, and plugged it in. Five months in we haven’t lost one order to the vapors - this printer just works and works and works. It is a workhorse with no apparent weaknesses.

We ordered a label printer for the first time, but when we tried to set it up, we found it was defective. The labels wouldn’t roll inside, and it made a clicking noise. We immediately requested a return and replacement with the same printer. However, two days later, the seller emailed us and canceled the shipment of the replacement. They also refused to refund us for the defective printer we returned. We filed a complaint with Amazon, and they promised a refund, but in the end, we still never received it. Many people in the reviews also mentioned that they received defective machines. I suspect the seller is running a scam—selling faulty products and then refusing to provide returns or refunds. Do not buy their products. This is a scam. I’ve already fallen for it, and I can’t get my money back.

This is NOT an easy to install, plug and play printer. You need pro knowledge and a bit of a network knowledge to be able to install this. I myself have installed hundreds of these and for me, it's a 3 minute task. Your network should be 2.4GHZ compatible. Most people think mesh networks do not have 2.4 channel but in reality, 99% of them do. You need to make your network's 2.4GHZ discoverable in order to connect this printer. (Google how to turn on 2.4 GHZ on "whatever your mesh network is (eero, orbi etc)" then follow the video instructions on how to connect the printer provided by star mocronics on youtube. It may take a few tries but once it connects, you can forget about the printer and it'll work for many many years.

Would of given 5 stars across the board, but you can only put the paper in one way for the print to be legible. You will know if the paper is not in the printer correctly because the paper will just be blank. I know it is not the main printer for the clover station register, but I prefer to use this printer to avoid buying ink cartridges and different printing paper.

This is a great printer that works well with no issues. The main advantage for those of you looking for a printer that is compatible with both User Eats and GrubHub apps/tablets in a restaurant setup, this is the one. I wanted to thank you another reviewer who mention about such compatibility, because it is not obvious that this printer is compatible using only recommendations from Uber/GrubHub. For example, Uber only claims compatibility with a Bluetooth model, but not with the Ethernet one (this one). Regardless, this printer works really well with Uber -- as a matter of fact potentially better than the Bluetooth model because there is no wireless/Bluetooth connection involved. Definitely recommended for such restaurant setup.

Got this so I could print receipts for my customers paying in person with a card, chip or smartphone. I use PayPal Now with an Android tablet and PayPal card reader. The printer was easy to set up and works very well. The only thing I have not been able to do is print my company logo at the top of the slip. However, the company name, address, phone number, and email prints. I think this is a function, and thus a problem of PayPal, not the printer. So I'm not blaming the printer at all. However, it would be nice to have my logo on the receipt and the ability to print a coupon or something too.

Good price point for a new printer! They arrived in excellent shape with all the bits you need, I pre ordered longer ethernet cables as I knew I would need them. Hooked this up to our POS system with no issues, as soon as they connected to the router the POS could see them, no set up at all, just printed right away. Fantastic printers, highly recommend. We use them as station printers and they are fast as lightening too. Top buy would buy again

I wanted a receipt printer for my Paypal reader, it was relatively easy to set up using my iPhone just follow the step by step instructions. At first I couldn't print from paypal even though everything was connected, it was a simple fix though just had to go into the PayPal settings to add this printer. A great purchase very happy

Facile da configurare tramite la sua app, una volta collegata al router è stata subito trovata sia dalla sua app che dall'applicativo "Gloriafood" che dovevo interfacciarci, facile anche l'istallazione a parete. ATTENZIONE QUESTO MODELLO WIFI ha bisogno di essere collegata al router con un cavo di rete, poi potrete raggiungere la stampante con il tablet o altro collegandovi al wi-fi del router. Sulla scocca e sulla targhetta presenta la scritta della serie non del modello, la stavo per restituire per questo motivo credendo di avere ricevuto un modello errato. Prima di acquistare controllare la compatibilità con l'applicativo con cui intendete stampare.
