The Scullion Cookky 5 piece utensil set comes with a large spatula, a small spatula, a whisk, a basting brush, and tongs. The whisk and the tongs have metal handles. To test this set I made my mom's famous barbecue sauce recipe. I used the large spatula to stir the ingredients together in the pot. While cooking some chicken on the grill, I used the basting brush to apply the barbecue sauce. I then used the tongs for flipping the chicken and removing it from the grill. (see photos)I like this silicone whisk because I can use it in my non-stick pots and pans. This is useful if I need to make a gravy or sauce and need to whisk in flour or cornstarch. All of the utensils feel sturdy and seem to be made with high-quality materials. This Scullion Cookky Kitchen Utensil Set for Cooking is such a fun, colorful set - but yet a high quality product. My daughter is getting her first apartment so I purchased this set for her. This set is heat-resistant so you can use them on your pans without scratching the surface or fear that the utensils will melt or that the color will fade. She absolutely loves to bake and cook so she will definitely put these utensils to good use. The e-book is a great addition to this set because she also loves to try new recipes. These kitchen utensils are amazing. They are absolutely sturdy, which I didn't fully expect to be honest. However, so far, I really think they will hold up well to frequent use. I also am psyched that I can let my kids play with these while helping me in the kitchen without fear they will get hurt. The bright colors are an added bonus and stand out against the boring steel and black that currently overtakes my utensil drawer. I would love to get some more of these in different uses.
