A cautionary note. This particular model has a 1" thread depth, which is NOT long enough to mount through a standard Class III hitch (the plate of which is pushing 3/4" thick) and get sufficient coverage for a flange nut to grab hold. You will need at the minimum a hoist ring with a 1-1/2" thread depth to mount it. You will be also be looking for a 3/4"-10 locking (serrated) flange nut, Grade 8, also available through Amazon, at just over $1.00 each in lots of 10. The attachment needs to be torqued to 100 ft-lbs to maintain the rated 5,000 lb pulling load, which is a goodly amount. Borrow a torque wrench to make sure you have enough twisting force.
