Made in China but good quality, price was very affordable.

Worked perfectly it was exactly what I needed to make a vaccum chamber.

I'm setting up a 20 barrel 1100 gallon water storage system for my wife's 500 square foot greenhouse. At first I was trying to save costs and picked up some plastic bulkhead fittings that were said to work on 55 gallon plastic barrels but knew right away I made a mistake. They were designed to pop back a thread if they were tightened to much and they popped when I was hand tightening them with my left hand. I'm right handed but can't use it right now due to an injury. Of course they leaked like sieves. They may be good for fishtanks but won't stand up to the pressure of rain barrels. I ordered 20 of these stainless steel Rainpal bulkheads and was impressed as soon as I saw them. They have a great gasket design that eliminates slippage, and you can either screw in 1/2" pipe or valves on the inside or attach female garden hose parts to the outside threads. I installed a bulkhead, attached a hose and filled the barrel. No leaks, no drama, just the way it should be. Thank you Rainpal!

Quality made but flange little bit too thick for my purpose

After purchasing a number of other brands purporting to have 3/4" male garden hose thread (MGT or male GHT) and finding that they were NOT garden hose thread, I finally found these Rainpal items that are exactly as described. Our group does a Rain Barrel Workshop each year and have finally found these as a cost-effective, metal port to which we can attach a stop valve and/or a garden hose. Use a 27mm hole-saw bit or step-drill bit to get a nice hole for these bulkhead fittings. Save yourself the trouble and ignore the other products pretending to be something they aren't.
