Do not use over hard surfaces some of the punching inserts mey come loose, avoid using steel hammers instead use a soft teflon ir wooden malet

Love these better than my other angle cutters. Wish the holes were a little smaller.

These are outstanding punches. They're very sharp right of the box. The only negative that I can see while using these is that the punches cannot be replaced or taken out of the handle for sharpening. So, when they go dull you must replace the whole tool. Anyway, they seem to work very well at the time I made this post. I strongly recommend them and I strongly recommend the seller.

I had been looking at these types of punches, but most are more expensive. While these don't appear to be changeable, they are a very reasonable option for the DIY leather worker. I've made two knife sheaths so far, and the stitching looks amazing.

I have 30 years experience working leather. These are not good. The tubes don’t void the leather well, that will lead to breakage in the future. They are not very sharp and require striking much harder to get them to penetrate veg-tanned leather. Because they aren’t sharp, they leave fuzzy holes. There is no way to replace the tube when it is no longer serviceable, therefore leaving the tool useless after breaking a tool. They are a low cost item, so, you get what you pay for. Was waiting to buy the set as I didn't think it would be worth paying higher price, but I was proven wrong, as it was miles ahead of the cheapest french punches - it just makes round holes which might not as pretty, but the feel int he hand is good, it keeps nice and sharp even after several months of usage and with nice long handle it makes it easy and consistent to pull out and use quickly. Definitely worth the price at <$20.

A lot of leather crafting stuff is a bit cheap and frankly a bit crap that you can't use it and give up thinking it's you doing something wrong. These are the ones worth buying and paying the extra for. The grip is good the punch is clean and as a extra tip cover your paper stencil in dry candle wax and tape to your work piece. The punch won't get stuck when you pull it out. (Try it and you're welcome)

Waited a long time and now missing the two prong tool. Not happy
