Pepper Jelly Recipes Hot Pepper Jelly Cocktail 1 heaping tablespoon pepper jelly 2 ounces Bourbon 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice Spoon the pepper jelly into a cocktail shaker. Add Bourbon, and stir to dissolve the jelly. Add the lemon juice and ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass. Braised Brisket With Bourbon-Pepper Glaze Cook brisket as you normally would then transfer 1/4 cup braising liquid to a blender. Add bourbon blaze pepper jelly and purée until smooth. Salt and pepper. Preheat broiler. Spread 3-4 tablespoons glaze on top of brisket with the back of a spoon. Broil brisket in pot until browned and glazed, watching carefully to prevent burning, 4-5 minutes. Ladle braising liquid over. Drizzle remaining glaze on top.
