good for specific applications
for the money its good flux core wire but not the best for all applications..positive :-the go too wire for cheap low voltage flux core welders ... runs hot-cheap$-works great when working outside-possible good for AC welders?negative:-doesnt work well in most pro welders-runs way hotter than the specs given by hobart-breaks in the machine and gets jammed up alot-hard to fill gaps with this wireI would give this wire 4/5 if used in a cheap powerfist welder on a 120v 20a input but there are better wires out there for pro welding machines

Great product at half the price
Like the other reviews have stated, This wire burns HOT, which isn't a bad thing. I used this wire in a Lincoln Mig pack 140 which is 110, so a hot wire isn't a bad thing, I also ran the wire a little faster then I usually do with more well brands. THAT BEING SAID, I always run .035 wire and its been a while since I've ran .030 so that could just me not being use to the change. I was welding more thicker metal , but I'll be doing some body work over the winter and I'll update my reveiw thenI think this wire is a little better with a name brand welder since they generally have a wider verity for adjustment.Basically for the price and quality of product its hard to complain

Not Worth the $$ Saved
There is some sort of defect with this product (maybe poor QAQC, maybe metallurgy.... doesn't really matter what) such that you do not get a continuous weld because the arc stops and starts throughout every attempted weld. I usually use Lincoln brand but was tempted by the cost savings with Blue Demon and the rework, grinding and overall results have made me regret the decision. Not sure I'll even finish the spool or simply discard it.

finally!
I'ts my second review. I finally starting to get to something here with my 110v welding machine. I'm burning this wire exactly like using arc stick welding technique. The same motion, speed and slag using stick and the beads is looking like stick welding too. With other wires, you can cheat little bit on your welding motion and get away with it, but this wire, don't cheat or you will have splatters and bumpy ugly welds. An another advice, put down the voltage because it runs alot more hot than usual wires. I'll be using it again this weekend and give more infos on it next week.
