Great product. This item actually comes with a cord attached. You just plug into any socket. Initially, there is a little strobe action, then it begins to flicker, and finally will turn off for 5-7 seconds. And then the cycle starts over again. There is an on-off switch. The light is dim. Do not expect it bright. The bulb is plastic and after several minutes on, the bulb did not heat up. Worth the price. Recommended.

Does a great job of fading and flickering. Only three small white LEDs so best on it's own in the window of a dark room, to illuminate a piece. Bulb and power cable cannot be separated.

Although the Led flicker timing is good, the light emitted is quite dim. The main issue I have is that even though it clearly states in the product description "It works with any standard light fixture" it does not. It is a fixed unit attached to a 6 ft power cord. Be forewarned, this is not capable of being threaded into a standard light fixture like a light bulb. Instead you will need to rig an extension cord to run up to your ceiling and also put some sort of hook to hang the bulb from it's cord. Also before you think it... I did try to unthread it... just in case. No dice.

This thing is HUGE. I thought it was normal Edison bulb sized that fits in a table lamp but it's like 3x that size. It's true it doesn't screw in but rather has its own plug, but that was clear in the description. The bulb itself is plastic, and the "dirty" coating that it has to make it look old is not as opaque as in the photo so you can see the 3 LED lights on the inside which makes it less cool. I think overall it'll still work for my Halloween party in the hallway but I think it's overpriced for what it is.

This is a very Large bulb. you plug it in to operate. I first thought it was a screw in bulb. It is plastic and about 2x the size of a regular light bulb. Works great though. Super creepy.

You think this looks like a standard light bulb size, maybe the size of a vintage edison bulb? Nope, this thing is 3 times the size of a bulb, something that a clown may have hovering over his head when he has a not so great idea. Further, just as the others have stated, it is extremely dim. Certainly not from the theming of the bulb because you can clearly see the 3 dim LEDs inside, not a filament which you would expect. Overall disappointment in this item.
