Leaves hands with a non greasy lotion layer. It does have a residual medicinal smell. Keep in mind it's a antimicrobial soap, not just antibacterial supermarket soap. This is used in hospital and clinics. If a medicinal after scent doesn't bother you, than this is a superior hand soap. Would be an excellent in a daycare setting!
