Carbony Pennywhistle in C Carbon Fiber Whistle

Pipe Makers Union Pennywhistles live up to expections. My whistles arrived quickly and well packaged. The sound produced has a softer edge than there metal made competitors. I found that making half notes, trills, and ornaments are easier to produce. The only drawback I've found is and occational funny taste from the mouth piece and the whistle type 'A', 'B/b', 'C', 'D' is missing on the tube or mouth piece. I received my whistle and am quite pleased. The sound is pure and not as 'shrill' as my other copper whistle and only weighs a fraction as much! I checked the tone with my chromatic tuner and it was right on the money right out of the case without any adjustment to the mouthpiece. I also love the fact that it is made out of carbon fiber. I am just a novice player so I cannot say much more right now but only that I know that I have a fine quality instrument to learn on.
