Is it really necessary to throw away the brush if it comes into contact with yeast? Can't you disinfect it?

Hi Kasey- Great question... If you boil the babyBUM diaper cream brush after coming in contact with yeast then you don't need to discard it. Many parents (including the inventor) have told us that they round up the pacifiers and bum brush every week or so and throw in boiling water or the dishwasher to disinfect it all. Our team has tested extensively and confirmed that you can boil the babyBUM brush for an extensive period and it will not change shape...that is the beauty of silicone and one the many reasons we choose this material! Is there an age restriction on this product? For instance, my husband has raved about similar items made of silicon.

Don't let any perceived age restriction deter you. Once you're of-age, the anal simulation of this silicone spatula can be quite pleasurable. In fact, it's useful for applying lube (water-based) to the adult posterior. Give it a whirl! Very hygienic!

Is it safe to sterilize in a sterlizer or microwave sterlizer bags?

Hi Erin- Many parents prefer a simple baby wipe for immediately after each use. When you wish to sterilize it you can certainly place it in a sterilizer or boiling water. Since it is pure silicone it is resistant to high heat. The mom that invented this product periodically rounds up her pacifiers and babyBUM brush each week and throws them all in boiling water to sterilize.

The diaper cream we use is in a tub not a squeeze tube, is this strong enough to dip into the tub of cream?

Is the cream real solid or fairly soft? I would think it should be just fine to dip in. It's soft and flexible but I would think it would still work ☺

Excellent Quality!

I love how good of quality this is! This makes diaper changes sooo much quicker! I love how easy it is to clean it between diaper changes. I just wipe it off with a baby wipe. I've been using the same spatula for over 4 months now and I haven't had any issues with tearing or the product coming apart. I love using this instead of having to use my fingers to apply the diaper cream!

Most recommended baby tool!

I love these baby diaper cream spatulas. I recently bought 3 for a friend having a baby. 2 regular size & one mini for travel! When babysitting I used these spatulas consistently for 3 years of diapering. Very user-friendly, cleans super easy and can be sanitized. My favorite baby tool I will recommend to anyone! I hardly used the suction tool but it’s nice to have so you can stick the spatula to a table and not get diaper cream all over your changing table or surface, and also won’t knock over and get diaper cream on your floors!
