Having recently ordered food from Amazon for the first time, I found the experience quite worthwhile. Being of Korean heritage, I frequently incorporate perilla items into my cooking, and this perilla seed powder has greatly enhanced the flavor of my meals. I have already consumed nearly half the jar and fully intend to reorder it.

I think my mom loves it. Therefore i give fiver stars.

I dabble in cooking Korean food and there are a few dishes I like to make that require perilla seed powder. I've ordered it from other Amazon vendors in the past and always thought perilla seed powder tasted a little funny but I'd get used to it eventually and maybe see what the Koreans like about it. I tried substituting with ground sesame powder (it'd be cheaper, if nothing else), but that's not super either. These good dishes are better with perilla seed powder, so I kept ordering it from various vendors and put up with the funny taste because it's one off note in an otherwise harmonious symphony of flavor. When I got this stuff and used it in mushroom soup, my wife and I could immediately taste an enormous improvement in the dish. This perilla seed powder is smoother, thicker; the taste is deeper and blends better with the mushrooms and beef. It's just delicious; not just the best I ever had, but enough better than the rest to make them seem like inferior imitations. Now I see what the Koreans like about perilla seed powder -- they get good perilla seed powder over there! And now that I know where to get it, I do see what they see. And this is going to be my go-to perilla seed powder from now on!

Very very fresh raw perilla oil. Been buying regularly with my subscription very mild but flavorful when taste Good to take with spoon directly or been using in my every salads for my omega 3 intake.
