I mounted a Badlands 12000 lb winch on the front of my 2003 hummer h2. I have the brush grill. Had to drill new holes, from top to bottom, I used this Hitch to move my winch out from my brush grill, so my hood can open and stay open. Works great, and this hitch is a monster, and made really good for the price. Got this the next day with prime. Excellent investment. I also have to buy a longer bar lock as well.
