My husband used to be very active with r/c cars. Anyone involved in the r/c community knows it is not a cheap hobby to have. Although he has many different style cars he has never owned a drone so I thought this one was a great place to start. I like how it has a camera so if he wants to take pics of his truck or the house or just to explore the neighborhood he can. I do wish it cane with more replacement blades as he already destroyed the ones he had and has to wait till we can order more. Not the end of the world, I mean they do includea 2nd pair which ia neat. I also like there are 2 batteries. Usually when he is outside playing for a little while we bring both batteries out so when the 1st dies he has rhe 2nd ready to go. All and all this is a nice drone. It has a lot of great features for a reasonable cost. Its a good toy for a beginner and im sure a novice would have fun with it also. After a few minutes using and testing the control you get the hang of it. I doesnt seem hard at all. My husband will play outside for almost an hour till the wind took it and it went into the neighbors yard. Be cautious when flying.

UPDATE: This seller won't stop emailing me. I kinda lost count but I've received at least 3 "final offer" emails, offering to pay me $39.99 to delete this review. LOL. The review stands. It is written about the product I received. The first of many emails from the seller asking me to delete the review said they have updated the software and addressed the issues I experienced (see below) which is cool, I suppose, but I still have this piece of junk and presumably so do a lot of others. I'm not going to delete a review, even if they refunded me the entire price. Keep your money, seller, and maybe consider not selling cheaply made junk. Either they knew it didn't work properly and still sold it, or they didn't know and still sold it. Either way, that's really lame and I won't ever buy another product from them. Sellers like you are a dime-a-dozen on Amazon. It's kind of ruining Amazon. I find buying direct from a manufacturer increasingly more reliable, especially since many of them offer free shipping. I still find good deals here and the review system is awesome but you really have to do your research, or be prepared to lose a little money and forget about it and just roll the dice.So here you go. I not only added this update but edited the original review in order to elaborate on my experience with this product I'm sad to say is becoming more typical.After multiple attempts to actually control this drone, I gave up. I wasn't expecting much. No idea if any of the other features work but the "basic flight" part of this flying machine doesn't work. Edit: The drone is impossible to fly. It will not hover in one place, despite my many attempts to adjust trim or "calibrate" it. I could get it to take off but it would immediately drift sharply in one direction then fail to respond attempts to correct it from any controller input. The best I could do was slow its drift to eventual crash. Even with the guards on it, the blades finally became damaged so I gave up. For $50 I wasn't expecting much but I thought maybe at least it would fly? I guess I could use it as a remote camera... so it's worth something?

This is my first drone and I am absolutely estatic.I knew they were fun but thisis a whole new adventure for me.iT does take some hand eye coordination but be patient with yourself.all of the cool functions like RTH and follow me are easy to usethe only thing that disappoints me is the phone holder is too shallow but i but i solved that with using a rubberband to hold my phone.the drone is very sturdy it's hit things with no mechanical damamge.WARNING!!!!when buying the AAA batteries for the controller make very sure they are 1.5volts.i mistakenling bought 1.2volts and that will not work your controller wont even light up.I am a ver satisfied customer.

My husband and son love this drone… This is the first one we have owned! For the great price, this is an awesome starter drone. It definitely Has all the features you would want that you can also find from some expensive drones. This Drone is very user-friendly and has easy to read instructions! The control board is very easy to use! There is hardly any assembly required at all and it is basically ready to go when you take it out of the box! The controls are easy and accurate The controls are easy and accurate And responsive! It also comes with an extra battery pack which makes it super nice because you can charge one while you are playing with the other one! Sweet bonus! I definitely wouldn’t recommend using it in the wind or near a lot of trees! Just thought I would mention that! Overall, this is a very nice drone to start with! Super fun and definitely easy to use!Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try out a stable drone and not have to spend a lot of money.

This drone has amazing features and most of them work, but I never had the chance to actually try them because the batteries wouldn't charge. For some reason, the two provided batteries would not charge fully. Each time I tried to fly it, the batteries would die out in a few seconds, and the whole drone would not go higher than a foot. There are no lights on the battery to indicate whether it is charging or not, but the chargers I used seemed to work fine on other devices. I lost the original charger, which could have solved the issue (I doubt it would). Another factor was the fact that one of the batteries kept getting stuck. I had to spend minutes every time trying to get it out and ended up scratching many parts of the drone. If you have been into the hobby of drones, then you might know how to modify this and use it. If you are a beginner (like me), then read the instructions carefully or just look at another product. This drone seems amazing, especially for the price point, and I couldn't find any other drone with this many features for this price, but the battery problem really ruined the whole experience for me. It could also be that this is just a defective product that I was unlucky enough to receive.
