I don't see any indication of where it was manufactured. I have used it. In appearance and function, it is of high quality. **Q: What is the wire arrangement? could this cord be used for 3 phase?** A: There are 4 wires on this, it is meant for home 240v 2 phase. To hots, a nuetral and ground. If used with 3 phase you would not have a ground and have no idea of code implications for your purpose. You may need to spend up and get a 5 wire cord for 3 hots, nuetral and ground. Disclaimer: I am not an electrician and don’t even play one on TV. **Q: Is this cord made of copper or aluminium?** A: The cord is made from 99.9% copper to give the best performance. **Q: Is the wire stranded or solid?** A: It flexes to easy to be solid. I was able to wrap a 40 foot one around one of those orange reels from the big box store in 40 degree weather.
