For the money, I thought the straw was very pricey but since it has worked for my cat, then I am happy but still thought it was very costly for the amount I received.

I bought this to use in our compost bin. It does the job and is reasonably priced.

I have stray cats that live on my property and in New England it can get cold in the winter. I was looking for some straw to fill cat houses that I made out of large Rubbermaid containers and board insulation. I looked locally but all I could find were large bails, so I found this product online and the ratings were good so I ordered some and was very happy with what I received. The quality of the straw was very good and there was a more than enough for 2 houses( I will have plenty for next winter plus some). The only thing I would advise is to open it outside because there are a lot of small fine pieces that fall out of the box, as it is not contained by anything but the shipping box.

One major reason why we use mulch is to stop weeds from growing in our planted areas and this mulch added in TONS of seeds into all kf thr planters I put it in. Had to remove it from several raised beds and replace it with some American mulch I got from ACE. Do not use this product in your gardens.Zero stars in the only applicable review, complete waste of time, monly, and energy.

I mixed this with some oyster mushroom spawn in the garden and have gotten five solid harvests so far. Only downside is that there are plenty of seeds that grow wheatgrass. I've been chewing on the wheatgrass so it's not that much of a downside.

Lovely clean, fresh smelling straw. very little dust and tiny fragments and soft for my bunnies to lay on. They love shoveling it around and making piles to lay on. I have sourced cheaper straw in the past, but it's either old and dusty and even moldy, or coarse (meant for horses), so I am sticking with this brand.

Last year I bought this from same place and it was beautiful so I purchased it again this year and it’s not the same.For the costs and the size I received it’s no longer a good deal. It’s only for outside feral cats but I was in Dearborn the other day and they had nice size boxes of straw for $6. I had already ordered this thru Amazon but won’t do it next year.

I bought this straw to put in a dog house for my feral cats to keep them warm and dry from the very cold temperatures, I put a self warming blanket on top of the straw and they loved it! I would buy and use this again. It was a lifesaver! Thank you!!
