Es muy versátil
El precio no me gustó ,ya que es una herramienta usada y sin filo en las sierras ,por lo demás está muy bien

does not come with a hinge cut out
The product is great for cutting out door knobs and locks. Easy to use and effective

Straight forward but Imperial measurements don’t match Australian sizes
This makes adding door handles easy as.I like that it comes with clear instructions for use, and despite below criticism was able to add a handle to a new door - first time doing this - without dramas.The size of the hole saws is imperial, it does not match up with existing holes in other doors in the house. I used my own metric hole saw instead and this worked fine. You probably don't need to do this though.

WORKS GREAT-A DOLLAR A DOOR!!A++++
I don't know how you couldn't be pleased with this item for the money. I paid 10 or 11 bucks for this with an Irwin incentive discount. Even without that it was well worth the money. I used it right away for three lock sets that were upgrades from the old style. I had pulled the old mortised in lock and glued a block to fill the cavity. I also glued in a small block around where the flange had been. It was a real mess to figure out where to drill and this set did it all. Yeah its plastic and flimsy-its a ten dollar item-but it gets the hole saw started in the right place on each side. Yeah the hole saws are not the best but they are fine if you keep pulling them out and cleaning the teeth. Plus its all figured out. I was very skeptical of the "router bit" you put in your drill but as long as you keep your RPM's up it does the job fine. I haven't even used the hinge jig so that's another project for my ten dollar purchase but the rest I know works and is well worth it. I didn't experience blue rubbing off but my doors needed to be puttied sanded and painted from the old lockset anyway. I have a dozen doors to do-It will make it through them all then thats it-A dollar a door!! A+++++

All you need to fit door locks, knobs & handles PROPERLY.
I spotted this product on a Youtube video, where it looked really easy to use. Whenever you are drilling a new door to fit handles or locks, the MOST difficult part can be to keep the electric drill level/straight. This is particularly important if you are drilling or cutting holes into a very lightweight door, which is not solid right the way through. This kit helps you keep your drill straight, and includes other useful tools for the job as well! The kit consists of the jig itself, - which fits on the end of the door, to help you drill straight whether you are drilling through the side of the door, or through the end. Also, 2 x carbon steel hole saws, a bolt template, and a router bit. There's also a hinge plate template, to help you mark & chisel out the recesses for the hinges on the edge of your door. We needed to replace 8 x (rather dated) sapele-style doors with 8 x new 4-panel lightweight doors. When we fitted the sapele doors at home some years ago, the fitting was very tricky, especially the knobs & locks, and it took us ages. This kit has changed all that, because it makes the whole job quicker, easier. and the finished job looks very neat & professional. For some strange reason, this product (& similar products) are not available on the UK high street, but are widely available in the United States. That said, this one was actually despatched from Germany & arrived quickly. I've read the other reviews, & was surprised to read about some of the difficulties experienced. I can only say that having previously fit 8 doors WITHOUT this tool, and knowing all the things that can go wrong, this tool kit has made the world of difference. I can honestly say that I've had a 3 separate qualified joiners fit doors for me previously, and the finish on the fitting carried out by all of those the joiners was not even close to the finish which we obtained ourselves using this Irwin kit. As with any DIY job, you have to give a bit of thought to the job first, and allow enough time to do the job properly. It's worth knowing that there is a slightly different kit for use on metal doors. In summary, I consider this an excellent little tool kit, with everything you need to fit door locks, knobs, & handles, and makes the fitting very easy indeed. I would certainly recommend this product without hesitation.
