Cold Brew Coffee is AMAZING
A couple of months ago, I was at an event where a coffee vendor was giving out free samples of cold brew coffee. I had never heard of it, so I decided to try it and woah did I like it! I was not a very big coffee drinker because my cup has to be 75% cream and 25% coffee before I can drink it, but not with cold brew, I can drink it black. I kept thinking about how much I liked it and decided to look into buying some for myself to make at home. After reading a couple of articles, this coffee brand kept showing up, so I came on Amazon and saw the many, many 5 star reviews. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered some. The smell is heavenly, I wish I could smell it all day long, it's really that good. I have a french press, so that's what I used to make my cold brew. It doesn't come with instructions on the bag, but it is on the Amazon listing (1:4 ratio with water). My french press is broken at the top, so after I put in 1 cup of grounds and 4 cups of water, I put cling wrap over it and put it in the fridge. I let mine sit for 12-13 hours and it seems perfect for me! After straining it, I usually put it in a large bottle and back into the fridge. When I am making my cups, I will usually do about half coffee and half water, it works for me and tastes delicious :)!If you are new to cold brew or are just trying to find a brand you like, I highly, highly recommend this one. It's totally worth it!

Good coffee for cold brew
This is good coffee chosen specifically for cold brew. Not a coffee schnob at all, so I won't go into the intricacies of aroma, diameter of average grind, where the beans were sourced from, or what type of cup you should consume this in. I WILL tell you that Stone Street's coffee aroma, in general, is just heavenly. I generally prefer Espresso, but when I converted to cold brew, Espresso beans... or Espresso grinds seemed a little "off"; when cold brewing. I had read somewhere that in actuality, Espresso roasts are just not good for cold brewing. I guess it leads to a bitter taste or something of that nature. All I know is that this cold brew specific grind is very smooth and has a good coffee flavor without being bitter, or nasty, or whatever a coffee schnob would say ;) I drink it black and it's as good as any latte. Maybe it's me, but it seems to have a natural sweetness. It has a nice smooth flavor without any harsh tones (oops, a schnob word, sometimes it's unavoidable, haha ;) ).Later Note: After using this grind for some time ( a year?), I've gotten bored with it. It seemed too thin and flavorless. It actually tasted better hot brewed. I have now switched back to the Espresso Dark Roast and find it to be much more flavorful and more to my liking. Maybe I just needed something different for a change, to appreciate the Espresso Roast more. I do cold brew the Espresso. But the difference is like night and day. I'll stick with my Dark Roast Espresso, thanks... whether hot or cold brew... it's just plain better.

THE BEST Cold Brew Coffee This Cold-Brew-Coffee-Obsessed Individual Has Ever Tasted!
First I'd like to explain that, I am obsessed with cold brew coffee, It's the only kind of coffee I drink anymore, and I have at least 1 cup per day.Over the past year, I've tried 67 different kinds/Brands of cold brew coffee (yes, I've kept track and written them down); some that I have made myself using my cold brew system (all purchased from Amazon or local stores) and some made by local coffee shops (where they just hand me a cup of cold brew coffee (typically with ice). It's worth noting that I ONLY ever mix my cold brew coffee with water or ice, I never use sweeteners, milk or creamers; just the coffee concentrate with water. This way I get the true taste of the coffee. Now that you understand just how obsessed I am with cold brew coffees, here's my review of this Stone Street Cold Brew Coffee:This coffee is, by far, THE MOST DELICIOUS cold brew coffee I have come across. And that's saying a lot, especially since I've tried (as mentioned above) 67 different brands and types of cold brew (including this one). I will continue to try other brands and types of cold brews but so far this is, BY FAR, the best one I've tasted. The flavor is rich and pure and doesn't have slight hints of aluminum, plastic or other artificial flavors like many of the other ones I've tried do... It's really difficult for me to put into words exactly what I mean but the bottom line is that this one just (somewhat magically to me) fresh and pure.I should also point out that I am a big fan of the dark roast, so if you're not into dark roast, you might try another one... but still: If you don't like the dark roast-y flavor (which, btw, is not too intense in this one) then add a bit of milk or cream (maybe combined with a small amount of water or ice depending on your preference) and give this one a shot anyway :) I bet you'll like it!Last note: If anyone has any other brands or types of cold brew suggestions, leave a comment! :) I'm always searching for more to try!

Great to make cold brew coffee
My brother gave me a cold brew coffee maker for Christmas -- he also gave me a bag of coffee but using two cups for each pitcher quickly depleted the little bag. I decided to try this and I could smell the difference as soon as I opened the bag. I've already made one pitcher and now brewing the second full pitcher tonight. I put skim milk in a big insulated glass and then add enough cold brew coffee which gets me through my morning -- delicious and smooth. You won't regret moving to cold brew coffee.

Unbelievably Smooth....
The first thing you notice about Stone Street Coffee is the rich, intoxicating smell that can't be contained in the pouch that it comes in.I am definitely not a coffee connoisseur, but I press my coffee and was looking for a course-ground type to use in my press. I couldn't get over the how good Stone Street smelled! When I took my first sip, it was nirvana, so smooth, so lovely - not a hint of bitterness to be found. My best friend is so addicted to it, that every time he visits, he texts me ahead of time to make sure I get some Stone Street going in the press beforehand. If my daughter tries to steal a sip, I kid you not - he actually lifts his lip and snarls at her.I have drank a LOT of coffee over the years of my life. I have tried every method of brewing from instant, to drip, to the old-fashioned church-type percolators, and the good 'ol K-cup. NOTHING beats Stone Street in a press. It's worth the effort, and good enough that you can drink it straight. No need to drown it a "flavor-of-the-month" creamer. You will never find yourself pouring the last few swallows down the kitchen sink before rushing out the door to get to work. You'll risk being late, or you'll buy a Yeti just to take it with you - it's that good.

Good Coffee - Not Course Ground
The coffee is good, however I bought this specifically for my cold brewer because it claimed Course Grounds for it. The grounds were not very course and sifted through the fine mesh filter into my water.

Tastes amazing, grind is perfect, super smooth.
I make a lot of cold brew so hand-grinding out a pound ever 3-4 days gets tiresome and at the price of super freshly roasted beans locally, it's also stupid expensive to buy for a brew method that is so very flexible (I've gotten pretty good cold brew out of super old beans before) that getting it pre-ground is just easier, more affordable, and still can taste wonderful.Stone Street is top notch IMO, it's rich, smooth, and very strong just as I like it. The grind is also VERY consistent so if you're using a metal mesh filter or a cheaper straining bag, you're not going to get many fines with this.I make a concentrate to really stretch how many cups I can get out of a batch, so I use the entire pound per about 5-6 quarts of water and let it brew for 36-48 hours. It's fabulous, I cut it about halfway with either water (if I want it plain) or half-and-half (I want a creamier drink) and I've got enough caffeine to get me through an entire day of school and work. I'd estimate that I get about 11-12 total cups out of my full batch, but I do use larger 18oz cups since I drink a lot so for those that drink smaller amounts you'll get a lot more servings if you go the cold brew concentrate route.UPDATE: I've burned through 2 bags of this now and I'm hooked for sure. Buying really fresh beans is my preference but it's really hard to do that in my city much less for anywhere near affordable in large quantities. This hits my affordable AND easy AND great tasting criteria.
