Creative Haven Gothic Fantasy Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: Fantasy)

I put this on pre-order as soon as I saw the title. With no flip available I purchased this as a blind buy. I have other books from Marty Noble so I really didn't think I would need a flip before deciding to purchase. And considering how beautiful her Vampires book is I was expecting somewhat of the same feel. I am a bit disappointed. While there a few images I enjoy, the remainder of the book is lackluster. Too many wallpaper type images of skulls, swords, dragons, and chalices. I was thinking this book would be mostly gorgeous women with gothic dresses, castles, cemeteries, etc., in the background. While there are a few images like this, there are just not enough in my opinion. I normally color portraits of women, or images of women, so an image of a chalice with a dragon, or a skull with a dragon just does not appeal to me. The book also looks like it was rushed and not well thought out. I truly do not think I would have purchased this had I seen a flip through beforehand. At least the price was fairly cheap so I do not feel as bad.
