OWNTA New Flexible Smart Human PIR Sensor LED Strip Light 30 LEDs 1M Night Light Strip

Should've paid more attention to the reviews...but they seemed "mixed" so I took a chance and lost. Wont turn on and off, shorts out and stopped working a week after purchase.

Unfortunately the color of the light from these strips, although advertised as 3000K, is still too blue/cool to be used in living spaces without ended up with that fluorescent/hospital look. It really looks more like a 4000K color to me.I wanted to use these under my kitchen cabinets and as soon as I turned them on, I felt like I was in a school cafeteria. So this is purely utilitarian lighting-- ok for a closet or drawers, not for main stairs or hall, kitchen, livingroom, etc.Other than that the lighting is bright, and they work well. I

I own many different pir led lights and this one is one of my favorites. I'll update this review if that changes, but for now I like a lot of different attributes:It runs off AA batteries. I have a lot of eneloop AAA batteries and they work really well, especially for this application as the batteries last a couple months until they need their next charge (depending on how much traffic in the area there is)The lights are spread out for 1 meter; you're not going to find a non led-strip able to cast light evenly over as great a distance compared to a led pir light that is non led strip.The adhesive is pretty good and we've had some 90 degree days. If it does come over it's easy to staple them to a wood surface (if youre really careful that nothing is damaged with the sharp ends and that not much pressure is applied as to crack and led light which are fairly fragile.)The PIR is pretty good without false detections.Nice warm white (yellowish almost) hue of light emitted.Works especially well in a cabinet.cons:wish the wire from the battery compartment to beginning of the led strip is quite short.it's only one meter so pictures of it hanging the entire length from a banister are not accurate.

Great product up to the point at which the batteries begin to run down (about two weeks in my experience). At that point, instead of degrading into progressively dimmer light, the product blinks. The blink is to remind you that you should replace the batteries, but there is still plenty of light. So I would highly recommend to the manufacturer to make it not blink, just let it run down and exhaust the batteries.
