Worked perfectly, reflashed a BIOS chip
I made a mistake a few weeks ago and flashed an incorrect BIOS for a motherboard I was using on my test bench. I ended up with a blackscreen, DEAD.Reading up on re-flashing the chip, I went with this instead of ordering a pre-written bios chip from Taiwan (which would have taken 3 weeks). It all went incredibly easy. I plugged in the chip (which looks backward with pin 1 opposite from pin 1 of the zip socket), ran the windows software.Detected, Read, Erased, Wrote, Verified. All worked perfectly. When I plugged the chip back into the ASUS motherboard it booted up with no errors. Very pleased!

Worked as needed
I bought this to try and restore an Asrock B450 motherboard that got bricked during a BIOS flash.Followed instructions I found online and once i clipped onto the BIOS chip properly, i was able to read it and then re-flash. Motherboard resurrected!

Flashed bricked BIOS on LG subwoofer
Bought this because I needed a CH341a programmer with a SOIC8 clip to reflash the BIOS of a LG SPN5B-W (that I had as part of a LAC7/SNY7 set up) wireless subwoofer. The subwoofer randomly stopped working (as many other people online have noted) and came across some posts saying they got the subwoofer working by flashing the BIOS with a different BIOS. Flashing the BIOS with the BIOS that YouTube user zj695000 provided worked. Got this for CAD$17 and spent about 15 minutes to save so much money and hassle. It'd be good if the product was packaged in a cardboard box, because mine arrived with slightly bent pins, bent enough that I had to bend them back to insert them. A plastic bag, shipped in a bubble mailer is not good enough.

good Linux and flashrom experience -- recovered a bricked motherboard
Worked right out of the box on Fedora 39 Linux with flashrom to recover a bricked BIOS (3.3V Winbond SPI chip). No modifications/drivers needed, very simple to use. Unbelievable value compared to manufacturer repair fees. Worth many times the selling price. Package does not have any instructions, but includes all the hardware needed. There are many YouTube videos that walk you through the process.

Fixed Corrupted BIOS!
Was able to flash new bios on bricked motherboard (Gigabyte B450 I Aorus Pro Wifi). Had to watch a few YouTube videos to figure everything out but it didn’t take long to do the actual flash. No issues at all with voltage.
