Genius!
The small was the right size for our kitty who weighed just over 3 pounds. After her spay surgery, the cone wouldn't stay on and she kept trying to take/shake/bang it off. She hated the cone! When we put on the suit, she was SO happy and comfortable. After surgery, that's what a pet needs! The suit went on easily and was perfect for her to sleep in and use the bathroom. We could check on the incision easily, but she couldn't lick her incision (extremely important.) She couldn't remove the suit at all and it limited her movements just enough! The suit was cute, soft, and WORKED!

Might want to size down
The size chart and size options didnt quite mesh. I have a 7mo kitten, weighs about 6lb but is 11in long. The length had her in medium in the size charts in the photos but that chart said weight as 6.6lb; but amazon size options says mediun as 6-8lb. I chose medium, shouldve gone with a small. Its length is appropriate but it is too loose, I wish it had a thundershirt-like closure that could pick different tightnesses to be accomodating to different weight-builds, but it just has the one strip of velcro. She has figured out how to drag herself on the floor until her front legs come out and from there can escape. I mean it is cute, and as a vet tech Ive seen this be less traumatic than e-collars but if it doesnt fit youve wasted your time and money!

Absolutely fantastic! My cat loves it!
Not super thick which I think is good. Feels like soft, stretchy cotton pajamas. I bought because my 11 year old cat started over grooming and was licking her fur off her belly. She’s never worn anything before (no costume, sweater...). I expected her to pitch a fit and try to gnaw it off. I was so surprised to put it on her (yes, she squirmed and initially tried to break away) AND SHE LOVES IT!!!!! She’s so happy! Problem solved! I went back and bought three more - in all the cute different designs. I highly recommend!!!!

Eleanor is about as comfortable as a post-spay kitten could be.
Listen: a cat cone’s sole purpose seems to be one of three things:(1) Knocking over the water bowl in protest of being confined in a small space for recovery;(2) Shoveling cat litter into the cone in order to relocate it to other parts of the house;(3) Dipping into the water bowl and then into the litter box to create an effect like sprinkles on an ice cream cone.I hesitated to put the suit on my kitten because the vet put the fear of god in me—“Cats are resourceful and can lick around or through the suit”—but the first few hours home featured all of the above cone purposes multiple times, and I had a kitten and a bedroom covered in sticky litter, so I caved. The suit was easy to get on, and being out of the cone seemed to win me some favor points with Miss Eleanor, so she stopped being a wired little litter fiend and just went to sleep next to me like a little angel who hadn’t just created a mess that would outlast us for a generation.Miss Eleanor was spayed at 9 months old (12 hours after starting her first heat, so that was a nice surprise to have the night before the appointment. Blessedly, it was short-lived), and was almost 8.5 pounds, so I ordered the size large. It’s a teeny, tiny bit big on her, but I think the medium would’ve been too small, and I didn’t want to risk anything rubbing up against the wound.I have some concern that she’d be able to get to the wound by doing some gymnastics, so I do put an inflatable doughnut around her neck if she’s going to be home alone or if she’s hanging out somewhere I can’t see her (she’s really into the closet right now). The good news is that she doesn’t seem to mind the doughnut—maybe because she remembers her short-lived cone life. We’re three days into recovery and she seems to have accepted the onesie life. I’m happy I can (mostly) let her hangout relatively unencumbered by contraptions.

Well-Made, Fun Pet Onesie - Great for Recovery
This is a very well made garment. It arrived well packaged and quickly. It looks identical to the one that is pictured. Ultimately, I could not use it for my cat because my cat's wound is right beside his tail base/bum so we had to go with a cone to ensure he couldn't reach his wound near the tail opening. However his doctor encouraged me to keep it and use it after he is well - she thought that it was a great idea and extremely cute. And I think it is fun in a ridiculous way. I would recommend purchasing this and I think that it would do very well for a cat who has a wound that is not near the bottom opening, which is most pets.

Not Shabby But Needs Mods
It kept my kitten from licking her sutures, but I also had to modify it so it would stay on her. She kept slipping out through the neck hole. We had to put on her collar and then tie it to the collar with a shoelace through a hole we made. It worked, and it kept her out of a cone, but unless the suit fits perfectly you could have a hard time. However, I still give it high marks.

Special Needs Cats
Great for my disabled cat, she has to wear diapers but they simply fall off without something covering them and this outfit fit the bill. Washes easily, soft fabric, and strong velcro.

It works for us!
Its stops them from the incision site so it does what advertised. It also came early! Thank you to who ever sells this. I paid for 2 night shipping it was here the next day! My only complaint about it is that the collar needs something to make it tighter. I picked two holes into the neck line and ran a shoelace through to be able to tie it securely. When I didn't have the shoelace there both cats where able to shimmy there shoulders through the neck and take the outfit off. But it was a quick fix for that and i am highly satisfied with this! Would recommend to anyone with a healing cat!
