I originally purchased this candle to LIFT the spirits of a family member during early 2020! The feedback was so amazing that I purchased one for myself! Since then I have gifted this item is it's MANY scents to 5 others. I am a candle connoisseur and this one is the best! ! ! Long burn time, amazing scents, beautiful glow!!!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The glass jar is GORGEOUS & looks beautiful in my living room. However, for the cost of this candle, I was disappointed because the scent is very faint & the wood wick is not centered (my husband immediately commented on the wick placement when he saw the candle). Aesthetics aside, I’m concerned that the off-centered wick will affect the overall longevity of this candle. I would not have purchased this candle if I saw/smelled it in person first.*UPDATE* This seller, Melrose Home Decor, just proved customer service still exists! Within 24 hours of posting my two-star review, a representative from the company named Cyan, messaged me & offered to send a free replacement! As soon as I said I would appreciate a replacement of the same candle (Sea Mint & Spruce), Cyan messaged me & said a new one was being shipped out & should arrive within a couple of days. I’m pleased to report I just received my replacement candle & it is MUCH better than the first- the wick is centered & I could smell the candle before I even got it completely unwrapped! I’m very pleased with this candle AND the company’s desire to make things right! I will be purchasing from this company again & will do so with confidence! Thank you, Melrose Home Decor & Cyan! I personally own several other La Jolie candles and can attest to the throw and the longevity of these candles. I purchased the Gardenia and Ylang Ylang because I wanted a white candle to match my decor. The scent is a light and bright floral - not at all "Grandma's perfume" type of floral scent. I've had it a few months now and it's still going strong. I also love the soft crackle of the wood wick, and the gorgeous pattern the ornate jar casts on the walls.I admit that LJ candles are a bit pricey, but they are worth it. Highly giftable. Plus, the glass containers are so beautiful and reusable.*HELPFUL TIP: Don't throw your used candle away!! When your candle is spent, put it in the freezer overnight. Then gently remove the frozen wax with a butterknife. Soak in warm bubbly water to remove the labels, if desired, and give it a nice scrubbing to clean it up and remove the scent. And voila! You have a gorgeous trinket jar.

I collect candles and this one is by far my favorite. The elegant glass candle holder is stunning and can be used as a decorative container such as a candy jar when the candle has finished burning. The mint and spruce scent is absolutely divine! I just love this candle! It makes a beautiful gift if you can manage to part with it!P. McKee

Long burn time and beautiful glass jar but puts out little scent.UPDATE:Great customer service. Sent a replacement candle. Balsam Fir and Cedarwood puts out a great scent. Will buy again !!!
