Taste and texture.
I absolutely LOVE merken. I can't imagine a piece of salmon without it. It's simply delicious. I've had different merken at different times. I have to say that this merken is not bad, but I've had better. The heat and salt levels are rather low. In general it's a great spice to have and try. I'd recommend this product.

Elevates any dish
I love this spice so much! It’ll add a nuanced smokey flavor to any dish. My favorite is on lentils!

Authentic tasting, smokey, wish there were larger sizes available
This appears to me to be genuine Chilean spice with an authentic taste I've come to know. Very pleased to find it since the brand I have regularly purchased that ships in a 8oz jar is not available at the moment. What would make this better? I'd like to see this offered in larger 8oz or 16oz packages.
