ZWILLINGJA Henckels 66299-286 Madura Aluminum Fry Pan, 11", Black

This product started coming apart 32 days after we bought it. We use it 5 days a week to make eggs and sausage for breakfast. It is not scrubed with anything abrasive and only has plastic utensils used on it.I reached out to the manufacturer and was told that I would need to ship it back and wait 4 to 6 weeks for a replacement. Shipping it back and having to wait is understood, but having to wait 4 to 6 weeks suggests one of two things. They either do not care about customer service and are simply lazy or they have a lot of product coming back because of its poor quality and there is a backlog.I will likely be throwing it in the trash and leaving this review as a warning to others.

I bought this pan in January 2018. I have only used silicone or wood utensils and hand washed this pan, yet the nonstick coating is flaking off and there are lots of pits on the surface. Too bad because it works well and it was expensive. I am afraid to use it for health reasons now.

I did some researching for the best non-stick pans of 2019. I cook about 10 eggs everyday so having a real non stick pan tyhats easy to clean is importnt to me. I also wanted a pan without the stuff thats bad for your health. This pan got some glowing reviews and they are made in Italy so I decided to give it a try. First impression was "quality" when you hold it. It feels like you are using a very high quality tool instead of a frying pan. Nothing seems to stick to this pan and I literally only rinse with water and everything slips right off. There are some negative reviews about the non stick coating wearing off but you have to keep in mind these pans are not designed to used at high heats so those bad reviews are most likely a result of improper use and got the pan too hot and messed up the coating. Very pelased with this product and will buy more!

Big fan of German cookware, especially Zwilling. Found this non-sticking cooking pan on Amazon for a reasonable price (still much higher than other brand) and bought without hesitant. At first it did its job without problem, but that did not last long. One day we decided to cook beef short rib with this pan and after we were done, we did not immediately clean the pan until after we finished our dinner. The brownish residues around the edge could not be removed, not with regular dish detergent and scrub sponges. We’ve been trying for months and the residues is still there (photos attached). This has never happened before with other non-stick pans we had (even cheap Walmart ones). I would love to have a replacement but not sure if the problem is systematic. Just FYI, this product is made in Italy, not Germany.

Love this pan thus far. My old T-fal was showing its age, and needed rep[lacing.Both are/were mainly my egg pan.Good weight to it, handle is solid and stays cool.Thought found it odd that metal utensils are A-OK but spray (PAM) isn't.I'm not using either.
